Sevilla 2-1 Espanyol: Adams settles it at 90+1 as hosts rally late

Sevilla left it late but got it done. Down to Tyrhys Dolan’s strike just after the break, the hosts turned a tight LaLiga Round 35 match at Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán into a 2-1 comeback win over Espanyol. Defender Andres Castrin leveled in the 82nd minute, then substitute Akor Adams slotted the winner at 90+1 after an Alexis Sánchez assist.

After a goalless first half, Espanyol struck first on 56 minutes. Roberto Fernández teed up Dolan, who finished from close range. Sevilla responded with pressure and equalized when Djibril Sow slid a pass for Castrin to finish from the right channel on 82.
The final act arrived in stoppage time. Sánchez found Adams centrally and the striker guided in the 90+1 winner. Referee Javier Alberola Rojas showed 10 yellow cards in a chippy finish, with seven minutes added.

Luis Garcia’s changes paid off. Sánchez entered at half-time and created the late winner, while Adams needed only one shot to score it. Sow also came from the bench to register the assist on Castrin’s equalizer.
For Sevilla, Oso added thrust on the right with 12 accurate passes and one shot on target after the hour. Manolo Gonzalez turned to Kike García and Pol Lozano, with Lozano delivering one key pass, but Espanyol could not hold the lead.
