For the Sofascore FPL Round 30 we are changing things up a bit as we will first be focusing on players from teams situated in the lower half of the Premier League table.

Then for Round 31, we will concentrate on the players from top half clubs in order to gain the best possible outcome in terms of picking up Fantasy points where they may have otherwise have been missed.

Without further ado then, let’s take a look at our proposed XI for Round 30…

Formation: 3-5-2

Dean Henderson  (CRYSTAL PALACE v Leeds Utd) – €6.1M

Dean Henderson is ranked in 3rd place for Goalkeeper Fantasy points so far this season behind only to the likes of David Raya (Arsenal) and Jordan Pickford (Everton), so therefore the former Manchester United keeper looks a solid option between the sticks for Round 30.

A current Form rating of 8.7 together with a total of 157 Fantasy points to his name have helped contribute to an overall Sofascore rating of 7.06 and at a mere €6.1M, Henderson looks a good addition to the starting XI for Round 30.

Jan Paul van Hecke (Sunderland v BRIGHTON) – €7.0M

Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke has amassed the highest Fantasy points for a club that sits in the bottom half of the Premier League table to date with a total of 167 points under his belt.

A solid looking Form rating of 7.0 out of 10.0 heading into this weekend’s English top flight action looks a promising sign for The Seagulls’ Dutch stopper who also leads the way in Brighton’s Sofascore ratings with an impressive score of 7.31.

With 3 goals and 2 assists so far this season as well, van Hecke looks a solid option at the back for anyone’s Fantasy team for Round 30.

Maxence Lacroix  (CRYSTAL PALACE v Leeds Utd) – €8.1M

Crystal Palace’s French defender Maxence Lacroix is not too far behind Jan Paul van Hecke in the Fantasy points tally for defenders as Lacroix has totted up a total of 155 points so far in this season’s Premier League campaign.

Lacroix has been part of an Eagles squad who have reached the qualification play-offs in the UEFA Conference League and indeed, Lacroix tops Crystal Palace’s Sofascore ratings in this competition with a score of 7.27, while in the Premier League, the Frenchman has notched 1 goal along with contributing 2 assists.

Omar Alderete  (SUNDERLAND v Brighton) – €5.5M

Omar Alderete is another solid pick for Round 30 as the Sunderland centre-back has been an integral part of what has been a successful return to the domestic top flight for the Black Cats as his side occupy a creditable 11th place in the Premier League table.

The Paraguayan possesses an overall Sofascore rating of 6.90 so far in the top flight this season along with scoring 1 goal and producing 1 assist to date as well.

With 142 Fantasy points to his name so far this term as well, Omar Alderete looks a real bargain at just €5.5M!

Elliot Anderson  (NOTTM FOREST v Fulham) – €7.2M

In an otherwise uninspiring and ultimately struggling Nottingham Forest outfit, midfielder Elliot Anderson has been one of the few shining lights within the Tricky Trees’ squad this season.

Forest may be in the midst of a desperate relegation battle but Anderson sits top of Nottingham Forest’s Sofascore ratings with a score of 7.31 which has been on the back of scoring 2 goals along with 2 assists to date.

Anderson also sits in 5th place in the Midfielder rankings of the Fantasy points table with a total of 165 points to his name, so the Forest midfielder makes our Sofascore XI for Round 30.

Jarrod Bowen  (WEST HAM v Man City) – €8.6M

West Ham also find themselves in the relegation quagmire as the London club occupy third from bottom in the Premier League table but The Hammers have produced a string of promising results in recent weeks which has seen Nuno Espírito Santo’s side suffer just two defeats in their last eight matches.

Leading the way for the east London club is Jarrod Bowen who tops both the goals and assists charts for West Ham with 8 goals and 5 assists to his name so far this term.

An overall Sofascore rating of 7.01 along with a total of 137 Fantasy points to date has prompted a place in our Sofascore XI for Round 30.

Morgan Gibbs-White  (NOTTM FOREST v Fulham) – €7.6M

Joining fellow Nottingham Forest midfielder, Elliot Anderson, is another Tricky Tree in the shape of Morgan Gibbs-White who is enjoying a successful season in the middle of the park for the east midlands outfit.

Gibbs-White is Forest’s leading goalscorer with 8 goals along with chipping in with 2 assists this season and the upcoming hosts will need further input from Gibbs-White as they prepare for the visit of Fulham at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon.

Gibbs-White has achieved a total of 136 Fantasy points so far in this Premier League campaign and he has scored along with 2 assists in previous meetings against Fulham.

Granit Xhaka  (SUNDERLAND v Brighton) – €7.0M

Sunderland have enjoyed a solid and successful return to the English top flight in this season’s Premier League campaign as the Black Cats sit in a mid-table position of 11th place ahead of this upcoming clash against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

One of the key reasons for Sunderland’s rise is undoubtedly the form of former Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka who has been an integral part of Regis Le Bris’ plans this term – indeed, the Swiss midfield maestro has an outstanding Sofascore rating of 7.27, no doubt helped by the fact he has scored 1 goal along with 5 assists.ž

Xhaka has also racked up a total of 135 Fantasy points to date as well.

Anton Stach  (Crystal Palace v LEEDS UTD) – €6.4M

Another midfielder who leads the way for his respective club’s Sofascore ratings is Leeds United’s German midfielder Anton Stach who possesses an impressive rating of 7.14 thanks to notching 4 goals along with contributing 3 assists so far for the Yorkshire club.

Stach will be a key component in Leeds United’s battle against the drop in the latter stages of this Premier League campaign and he will be called upon again this Sunday as he lines up against a Crystal Palace outfit whom he scored against in the earlier corresponding fixture this season.

With a total of 132 Fantasy points under his belt so far this term, Stach looks a steal at just €6.4M for Round 30.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin  (Crystal Palace v LEEDS UTD) – €6.1M

Joining fellow Leeds United team-mate Anton Stach on our Sofascore teamsheet for Round 30 is forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin who has spearheaded The Whites’ attack this season, leading the way with 10 goals under his belt so far this term along with producing 1 assist.

Calvert-Lewin had seemingly lost his way a little before joining the famous Yorkshire club but he has repaid Daniel Farke’s faith in him and further Fantasy points look likely at Selhurst Park when he lines up against Crystal Palace.

Indeed, Calvert-Lewin has already plundered a total of 7 goals against Palace in previous appearances against The Eagles and he too looks a real bargain for Round 30.

Anthony Gordon  (Chelsea v NEWCASTLE UTD) – €7.9M

It won’t have been lost on Newcastle United that their arch-rivals, Sunderland, sit above them in the Premier League table, albeit by a single point, but The Magpies will be looking to put this straight on Saturday evening when they make their way to the nation’s capital to take on Chelsea.

Former Everton forward, Anthony Gordon, will be eager to add to his existing goal-tally of 4 goals and 2 assists this weekend, as well as boosting an existing Fantasy points tally of 88 so far this term.

In previous encounters against Chelsea, Gordon has notched 2 goals and provided 3 assists.
