Following a break for the FA Cup 4th round last weekend, Round 27 starts on Wednesday night with relegation-bound Wolves taking on Arsenal at Molineux in a 8pm kickoff in the west midlands. 

Wolves continue to look to add vital points in a bid to avoid the worst season tally currently held by Derby County, while Arsenal seek to extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points.

Bernd Leno  (Sunderland v FULHAM) – €5.7M

Fulham squeezed their way through to the 5th round of the FA Cup last week with a 2-1 win away from home at Stoke City and The Cottagers will no doubt be keen to build upon this cup result on Sunday afternoon when Marco Silva’s side make the long trek up to the north-east to take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno will be wanting to help The Cottagers avoid a fifth league defeat in six games on Sunday and in turn improve his Sofascore rating of 6.90 in the process.

Fulham have kept clean sheets in 31% of their home games to date in the Premier League and in his previous appearance against the Black Cats, Leno kept a clean sheet – perhaps a good omen?

Myles Lewis-Skelly (Wolves v ARSENAL) – €5.7M

Arsenal will head to Molineux in search of a valuable three-point haul as The Gunners look to make the most of Wolves’ relegation plight on the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw away at Brentford last time out in the top flight.

England defender Myles Lewis-Skelly featured in Arsenal’s 4-0 romp against Wigan Athletic in last week’s FA Cup 4th round and will be eager to press his claims for a place in the England squad for the forthcoming World Cup.

Lewis-Skelly possesses a Sofascore rating of 6.55 and 15 Fantasy points to date but there’s plenty of potential upside for the left-back.

Jean-Clair Todibo  (WEST HAM v Bournemouth) – €6.0M

West Ham made hard work of League One outfit Burton Albion in the FA Cup last week as The Hammers could only manage a 1-0 win away at the Pirelli Stadium while French defender Jean-Clair Todibo missed out due to suspension.

Todibo will be in line for a return to the West Ham starting XI though for Round 27 as West Ham play host to Bournemouth with a Sofascore rating of 6.53 under his belt along with 1 assist and a total of 45 Fantasy points to his name.

Lucas Digne  (ASTON VILLA v Leeds Utd) – €6.2M

A red card together with several controversial referee decisions cost Aston Villa in the 4th round of the FA Cup as The Villans surrendered a 1-0 lead to eventually slump to a 3-1 loss at home to fellow Premier League outfit Newcastle United.

Villa return to Villa Park again for Saturday afternoon’s clash with lowly Leeds United as both the hosts and Villa defender Lucas Digne seek a second league win on the trot – Digne currently holds a Sofascore rating of 6.79 together with a total of 91 Fantasy points.

In addition, Digne has never lost to Leeds (W4, D2).

Cole Palmer (CHELSEA v Burnley) – €10.3M

Chelsea and England attacking midfielder Cole Palmer will be looking to cash in in no uncertain terms when The Blues entertain relegation threatened Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea have suffered just one defeat in their last nine matches as the London club are enjoying a revival under manager Liam Rosenior, while Cole Palmer is also thriving under the new manager.

Indeed, Palmer possesses a Sofascore rating of 7.05 which has been helped by notching 8 goals along with 1 assist so far this season, as well as leading the way for Midfielders in the Fantasy Premier League with a form rating of 12.3 to his name. Get him on your team sheet for Round 27!

Adam Wharton (CRYSTAL PALACE v Wolves) – €5.7M

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner will be demanding a response from his side on Sunday afternoon when The Eagles play host to Premier League strugglers Wolves following a disastrous 3-2 loss at home to Burnley in the previous round of games.

England midfielder Adam Wharton will also be desperate to impress as the World Cup edges ever closer and with a Sofascore rating of 7.04 and 99 Fantasy Points to his name, Wharton will be eager to move into the ‘100 Club’ with a positive performance against the basement dwellers.

Joe Willock (Manchester City v NEWCASTLE UTD) – €5.5M

Following recent wins against Tottenham 2-1 away and a 3-1 victory at Villa Park over Aston Villa in last week’s FA Cup 4th round, Newcastle United will be looking to make it three wins on the trot but standing in their way is Manchester City.

Newcastle midfielder Joe Willock has been a consistent performer though for The Magpies despite Eddie Howe’s side producing inconsistent results overall in recent weeks as Willock has a Sofascore rating of 7.15 along with 1 goal to his name to date.

Willock has also hit the back of the net before against Manchester City, and looks a bargain at just €5.5M.

Nicolás Domínguez  (NOTTM FOREST v Liverpool) – €5.6M

With Nottingham Forest languishing in 17th place in the Premier League table and just three points above the drop-zone, the Tricky Trees recently parted ways with former manager Sean Dyche who became the third managerial casualty at the east midlands club this season.

Liverpool visit the City Ground on Sunday afternoon and Argentinian midfielder Nicolás Domínguez for one will be highly motivated to produce a positive display against The Reds.

Ilia Gruev  (Aston Villa v LEEDS UTD) – €5.7M

Leeds United face another tough assignment in the west midlands on Saturday afternoon on the back of narrowly edging Birmingham City on penalties in last week’s FA Cup 4th round tie, when Daniel Farke’s side face Aston Villa at Villa Park.

Joshua Zirkzee  (Everton v MANCHESTER UTD) – €6.0M

Manchester United are another club enjoying a welcome revival in form under their new coach and former player, Michael Carrick, as the Red Devils are unbeaten in their last five games in the Premier League, picking up four wins in the process.

United now sit in 4th place in the table and occupy one of the Champions League spots and Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee (Sofascore rating 6.53) will be keen to add to his goal-tally of 2 goals and 1 assist away at Everton on Monday night.

Indeed, Zirkee has previous history against The Toffees having notched 2 goals in his three previous appearances against the merseyside club.

Igor Jesus (NOTTM FOREST v Liverpool) – €6.0M

Another forward who has plenty of potential upside is Brazilian striker Igor Jesus who has burst onto the European scene scoring 6 goals along with an impressive  Sofascore rating of 7.20 in the UEFA Europa League.

Jesus will now be keen to transfer his goalscoring touch in the Premier League against Liverpool at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon having scored 2 goals and 1 assist so far in the league and in turn helping the Tricky Trees pull themselves further away from the relegation zone.

Jesus has a total of 45 Fantasy points under his belt to date.
