Wolves vs West Ham predictions: Lively affair expected at Molineux

&w=707&quality=100)
- Wolves are 17th and nine points above the relegation zone
- West Ham are one place and eight points above their hosts
- Recommended bet: Both teams to score
Wolves will look to pull further clear from relegation trouble and move within five points of West Ham on Tuesday when the two teams meet at Molineux in the Premier League.
Both clubs would normally be nervously looking over their shoulder, but Wolves, who are 17th, are nine points clear of 18th-placed Ipswich with a far superior goal difference to boot.
The Hammers have collected 34 points from 29 games, but they may still harbour hopes of recording a top-10 finish under boss Graham Potter.
Team news
Wolves forward Matheus Cunha is still suspended for two more games, while Sasa Kalajdzic, Leon Chiwome and Enso Gonzalez are sidelined through injury.
West Ham pair Michail Antonio and Crysencio Summerville are both ruled out in the longer term but Niclas Fullkrug is back in training ahead of Tuesday's trip to the Midlands and is available for selection.
The stats
&w=707&quality=100)
Wolves are unbeaten in two games in the Premier League and go into the match on the back of a 2-1 win over Southampton, a result which means they have taken 10 points from the last 18 available to pull clear of trouble.
Pereira's side have been vulnerable at home, though, winning only one of their last five matches at Molineux, while they have collected only 11 points there with three wins and two draws all season, losing nine of their 14 league games in front of their own supporters.
West Ham have won four and drawn five of their 14 away matches, while losing only five compared to eight defeats suffered at home.
The two teams met back in December, with West Ham running out 2-1 winners at the London Stadium.
Prediction
Wolves' position in the table is far from what they may have hoped for, but they will take comfort from the points gap to the bottom three after their dismal start to the season.
Pereira's team have only lost two of their last six games in the league, beating Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Southampton along the way.
When Cunha was suspended at the start of the month, Wolves fans may have feared the worst but they have picked up four points from the two games since to give themselves plenty of breathing room.
Wolves have now scored in eight consecutive games in all competitions, but they may struggle to keep West Ham at bay.
Potter's outfit have scored in 10 consecutive away matches in all competitions, which includes winning 1-0 at Arsenal, and this looks set to be a lively encounter in the Midlands.
Neither side have been in convincing enough form to back them to win but both have been finding the net with regularity, a trend that could well continue.
