Wolves will be looking to extend the gap to the Premier League relegation zone when they welcome European-chasing Fulham to Molineux on Tuesday evening.

Although Vítor Pereira's side occupy 17th position in the table, they have a five-point gap to the drop zone and a victory on Tuesday would be another step to securing their top-flight status.

Team news

Wolves have a length injury list that includes Sasa Kalajdzic, Rodrigo Gomes, Goncalo Guedes, Leon Chiwone, Hee-Chan Hwang, Enso Gonzalez and Yerson Mosquera

Emmanuel Agbadou missed the win over Bournemouth after picking up an injury in the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool and it is unclear whether he will have recovered in time for this clash.

As for Fulham, Emile Smith Rowe and Tom Cairney were both forced off at the weekend with knocks and they will be assessed closer to the game.

Kenny Tete, Harry Wilson and Reiss Nelson remain in the treatment room.

The stats

Wolves defeated 10-man Bournemouth 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium last time out, making it three victories from their last four matches in all competitions.

Pereira's troops have been mixed at home of late, recording 2-0 successes over Manchester United and Aston Villa either side back-to-back defeats to Nottingham Forest (3-0) and Arsenal (1-0).

Matheus Cunha leads the scoring charts for Wolves this term, netting 12 times in the league and once in the FA Cup.

Fulham's three-game winning streak in all competitions was brought to an abrupt end at the weekend, going down 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace.

The Cottagers have won four of their last five assignments and have suffered just one defeat from their last nine road fixtures.

Prediction

Wolves are still fighting hard to stay in the top flight and they will fancy their chances of getting something at home to Fulham, who were disappointing in the loss to Palace last time out.

But the Cottagers have been strong on the road and it is hard to predict a winner between these two with massive confidence, therefore delving into the shots on target market looks like the better option.

There are plenty of candidates to choose from and one player who sticks out is Wolves forward Cunha, who is looking to score for a fifth match in a row.

The 25-year-old Brazil international gets plenty of shots off and he has managed at least three in each of his last seven appearances, with at least two attempts hitting the target in five of those.

Cunha should be at the forefront of Wolves' best attacking play and he can test the goalkeeper's palms a couple of times again.
