- Ten of Wolves' 12 league wins have come after Vitor Pereira took charge in December
- Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa have both scored 19 league goals this season
- Recommended bet: Over 3.5 goals

Wolves and Brentford have both had successful Premier League seasons and the two teams will be aiming to finish the campaign on a high note at Molineux.

Vitor Pereira's arrival at Wolves just before Christmas sparked an impressive run of form and they are 16 points clear of the relegation zone going into the final round of fixtures.

Brentford are on course for a top-half finish although their four-match winning streak ended with a 3-2 home defeat to Fulham last weekend.

Team news

Wolves will assess the fitness of midfielder Tommy Doyle, while the hosts are missing Leon Chiwome, Enso Gonzalez, Yerson Mosquera, Sasa Kalajdzic and goalkeeper Sam Johnstone due to injury.

Brentford's Kristoffer Ajer could start at right-back as Michael Kayode is a doubt. Josh Dasilva, Fabio Carvalho, Aaron Hickey and Vitaly Janelt are likely to miss out.

Thomas Frank's Brentford side have been in fine form on the road in recent times.

The stats

Wolves have drawn only one of their last 18 Premier League matches, while striker Jorgen Strand Larsen has scored seven goals in his last seven league starts.

Wanderers have won just three of their 25 games against teams above them in the table.

There have been over 3.5 goals in 10 of Brentford's 16 league wins this season.

The Bees have won four of their last five matches and have lost only one of their last 10 away games in the top-flight.

Prediction

Wolves and Brentford both suffered high-scoring defeats in their most recent Premier League outings and the goals should continue to flow on Sunday.

Wolves lost 4-2 at FA Cup winners Crystal Palace on Tuesday, when striker Jorgen Strand Larsen extended his hot streak with a seventh goal in his last seven starts.

Brentford hotshots Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa both struck in the first half of last weekend's clash with Fulham, but the Bees let slip a 2-1 lead in the second half to lose 3-2.

Thomas Frank's men had beaten Brighton 4-2 and Manchester United 4-3 in their previous two home games and they have also won seven of their last nine away fixtures.

Backing over 3.5 goals looks a solid bet at Molineux as this season's first meeting between the clubs produced a chaotic 5-3 victory for Brentford in October.

Wolves have improved significantly since then and they won all three of their home games in April, including a 4-2 victory over Tottenham and a 3-0 success against Leicester.

They have surged clear of relegation trouble under Pereira and will want to give their fans a memorable final-day performance.

However, Brentford have the attacking quality to cause their hosts problems so backing four or more goals to be scored at Molineux could be the best approach.

Bees stars Mbeumo and Wissa are both one short of 20 league goals for the campaign and German winger Kevin Schade is also finishing the season strongly.
