West Ham vs Bournemouth predictions: Cherries should see off unhappy Hammers

- West Ham had only one shot on target in Tuesday's defeat at Wolves
- Bournemouth suffered a shock 2-1 home defeat to Ipswich on Wednesday
- Recommended bet: Bournemouth to win 2-1
Bournemouth have had a tough week, losing to Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals before Wednesday's 2-1 home defeat to relegation-threatened Ipswich.
That was a fourth loss in five Premier League games for Andoni Iraola's men although a strong finish to the season could still see them challenging for European qualification.
West Ham, in contrast, have little to play for and their 1-0 midweek defeat to Wolves, one of only four teams below them in the table, has increased the heat on manager Graham Potter.

Team news
West Ham will assess the fitness of Mohammed Kudus but Crysencio Summerville and Michail Antonio are sidelined.
Bournemouth are missing the injured Marcus Tavernier, Enes Unal and Luis Sinisterra. Top scorer Justin Kluivert is a doubt and Julian Araujo also faces a fitness test.
The stats
Under 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in eight of West Ham's last nine matches.
One or both teams have failed to score in five of the Hammers' last six games.
West Ham have lost three of their last four home matches to nil.
Bournemouth have lost four of their last five fixtures.
Five of the Cherries' last six Premier League away games have had four goals or more.
Four of Bournemouth's last six games in all competitions have ended in 2-1 defeats.
Prediction
West Ham and Bournemouth are both enduring difficult runs but the Cherries are rated as strong favourites to win at the London Stadium.
That is despite the fact that they have taken only one point from their last five league matches – in a 2-2 draw at Tottenham, where they let a 2-0 lead slip.
Bournemouth have struggled for clean sheets in recent weeks although Ipswich scored with both of their shots on target in Wednesday's 2-1 win in Dorset.
West Ham's performance against Wolves at Molineux suggests they may not be able to take advantage of their visitors' vulnerability at the back.
The goals have dried up for the Hammers under Potter and eight of their last nine matches have rewarded backers of under 2.5 goals.
Fit-again striker Niclas Fullkrug hit the woodwork with a header against Wolves but Potter's men managed only one shot on target and a 2-1 Bournemouth win appeals in the correct-score market.
The visitors hope top goalscorer Justin Kluivert to be passed fit but striker Evanilson and attacking midfielders Antoine Semenyo and David Brooks also pose a threat to the home defence.
West Ham have lost three of their last four home matches, with the exception being a win over Championship-bound Leicester, and another reverse in east London could be on the cards.
