Weekend acca predictions: Back these five favourites across Europe at 21/1

Ahead of another busy weekend of football across Europe, we provide five selections in good form ahead of matches against rivals below them in their respective league tables, paying out at bigger than 21/1.

Saturday, 2pm

After back-to-back victories against Spezia and Lazio, Salermitana are bidding to equal their best streak of consecutive victories in Serie A when they face basement club Cremonese.

The high Davide Nicola's men experienced following their 3-1 success at Stadio Olimpico last Sunday dissipated slightly when it was discovered that defender Norbert Gyomber's injury will keep him out for some time.

Salernitana will need to roll their sleeves up again when hosting Cremonese this Saturday because the visitors, who have lost three and drawn three on the road this term, know they are in a relegation battle and play in a very different style to Lazio.

Still, the Garnets are unbeaten by nine direct clashes with this opponent in Serie B when playing at their Stadio Arechi with four wins and five draws.

Saturday, 3pm

Blackburn suffered a surprise midweek defeat at Coventry but will expect to see off the challenge of relegation-threatened Huddersfield on their return to Ewood Park.

Rovers have turned their ground into a fortress with five consecutive victories that now see them in possession of the second-best home record in the Championship this season.

The visiting Terriers have taken two points from their seven away league matches this term and displayed familiar defensive frailty in losing 2-0 at home to Sunderland in midweek.

Saturday, 5pm

Napoli's incredible 13-game winning streak was ended by Liverpool at Anfield in midweek, but the Serie A leaders will be confident of returning from Bergamo with all three points when they take on second-placed Atalanta.

Victor Osimhen is in superb form and took his tally to seven goals in just eight league games with a hat-trick in the Azzurri's 4-0 demolition of Sassuolo last weekend.

Atalanta, who have dropped seven points at home this season and possess a better away record, were beaten 3-1 by Napoli in the corresponding fixture last season and know they will have to be at their best to avoid a similar outcome.

Saturday, 5.30pm

Ole Werner's Werder Bremen can inflict an eighth straight defeat on Schalke

Two promoted clubs experiencing differing fortunes on their return to the Bundesliga meet in the late German slot as eighth-placed Werder Bremen host rock-bottom Schalke.

The Green-Whites got back to winning ways at home to Hertha Berlin last weekend — the same team that Schalke had lost 2-1 at the previous Sunday.

That was one of seven straight defeats in all competitions for the Royal Blues, who were convincingly beaten at home by Freiburg last Saturday.

Werder have won three of the last five meetings between the clubs, albeit all of those were in Gelsenkirchen, and can be expected to take all three points in this latest clash.

Sunday, 8pm

Rayo Vallecano have lost 19 of their last 20 direct clashes with Real Madrid and may already be psychologically defeated before a ball is kicked at Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas.

Since Andoni Iraola's men had their colours lowered by Mallorca in August, Vallecano have taken 10 points from a possible 12 at home.

However, their last four guests are all currently outside the top nine in the table and none have the kind of quality and fortitude of a Real Madrid side boasting the best away record in LaLiga.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have won all six of their domestic road assignments, including in their other Madrid derby against third-placed Atletico.
