Barrow came from two goals down to seal a point in a 2-2 draw against 10-man Morecambe at the Mazuma Stadium.

An opening goal from Gwion Edwards gave Morecambe the lead before Max Taylor was shown a straight red card for a foul on Ben Whitfield just before the break.

Despite being a man down Morecambe doubled their lead in injury time when Lee Angol’s shot from the edge of the area deflected past Paul Farman.

Morecambe should have scored a third early in the second half when Andy Dallas had a free run on goal but was denied superbly by Farman.

Dallas was made to pay dearly for the miss as Barrow hit back with Robbie Gotts scoring from close range after Harry Burgoyne had saved well from a close range header.

But Burgoyne then gifted the Bluebirds an equaliser when he let a regulation Dean Campbell shot squirm from his grasp to give Tyler Smith an easy finish.

Campbell missed a great chance to seal the three points in the final minute when he shot wide on the turn as both sides had to settle for a point.
