Al-Ittihad are preparing one last push to sign Mohamed Salah before the Saudi transfer window slams shut on Thursday.

A delegation from the Middle East outfit reportedly arrived in London last Saturday in a bid to persuade the Liverpool star to complete a move.

An offer of around £150million from the Saudi champions was dismissed by the Reds before Salah played and scored in the 3-0 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mail, Al-Ittihad will increase their offer to around £200m in the next 48 hours, with the belief that Salah would be open to the transfer.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has insisted his talisman — who signed a new three-year contract last summer — is not for sale and remains happy at Anfield.

After the win over Villa, the German coach said: "He didn't tell me [if he wants to stay] but he didn't have to. He speaks with his training and performances and behaviour.

"We had meetings this week and the meetings were not about what we did in the past, it was about what we will do in the future."

Al-Ittihad have already signed a number of high-profile players from Europe this summer including Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante and Salah's former Liverpool team-mate Fabinho.
