Tamworth came from behind to beat 10-man Dagenham 3-1 and leave their hosts hovering just above the relegation zone.

Dan Creaney headed against the post for Tamworth early on but it was Dagenham who led through Ryan Hill’s finish in the 22nd minute.

But things began to unravel for the hosts when Chris Francis was shown a straight red card for a late challenge on George Morrison in the 33rd minute and Creaney then brought Tamworth level from the penalty spot in first-half stoppage time.

The visitors needed only three minutes of the second half to take the lead through Ronan Maher’s strike and they made sure of the win when the ball found its way to Haydn Hollis to apply the finish in the 65th minute.
