&w=707&quality=100)
- Celtic have a 13-point cushion at the top of the Scottish Premiership
- Hearts, St Mirren and Motherwell are in the hunt for a top-six finish
- St Johnstone remain rooted to the bottom of the table
There is plenty to play for in the Scottish Premiership this weekend as the league prepares to split in half before the final five matches of the season.
Celtic can clinch the title this weekend if they win and Rangers lose to Aberdeen, while St Johnstone will look to move to within two points of 11th-placed Dundee in their battle to relegation.
Celtic vs Kilmarnock (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Celtic's shock 1-0 defeat to St Johnstone last weekend meant that they had to put the champagne on ice as they look to celebrate another league title.
Rangers lost 2-0 to Hibernian and while Celtic failed to capitalise that day, they should return to winning ways this weekend.
The Hoops have averaged over three goals per game at home this season in the league, while Kilmarnock have the worst away record in the Scottish Premiership.
Score prediction: Celtic 3-0 Kilmarnock
Dundee United vs St Johnstone (Saturday, 3pm)
Dundee United's spot in the top half before the split is confirmed, but they will be wary of St Johnstone after their win over Celtic last weekend.
The hosts have lost four of their last five at home, while St Johnstone have lost just one of their previous six in all competitions, keeping four clean sheets during that period.
Score prediction: Dundee United 0-1 St Johnstone
Motherwell vs Hearts (Saturday, 3pm)
The game of the weekend could well take place at Fir Park as Motherwell hosts Hearts.
Hearts are sixth on 39 points, but Motherwell are just two places and one point behind them as the battle to finish in the top six comes to a conclusion.
The Well are winless in three, conceding at least two goals in each of those ties, while Hearts have lost three of their last five in all competitions.
The Jam Tarts have looked better on the road, tough, losing just two of their last nine away fixtures and they will expect to earn at least a share of the spoils.
Score prediction: Motherwell 1-1 Hearts
St Mirren vs Ross County (Saturday, 3pm)
St Mirren can also sneak into the top half of the table if results go their way this weekend and they face a Saturday visit of Ross County.
The Buddies have won just one of their last five at home, but they may be able to just squeeze out a victory against a County outfit that have lost three of their last four away games without troubling the scoresheet.
Score prediction: St Mirren 1-0 Ross County
Aberdeen vs Rangers (Sunday, 12pm)
&w=707&quality=100)
Rangers did well to draw 0-0 with Athletic Bilbao in midweek after being reduced to 10 men and head coach Barry Ferguson's attention will surely be on the second leg of that Europa League tie, with numerous changes to his starting XI expected.
An Aberdeen side unbeaten in five games in all competitions can take advantage of the distracted visitors.
Score prediction: Aberdeen 2-0 Rangers
Hibernian vs Dundee (Sunday, 2.30pm)
Hibernian will look to end the regular season with three wins on the spin when they host Dundee.
Hibs have scored five without reply in their last two and they have now won six in a row at Easter Road, while it is 10 without defeat at home.
Dundee ended a four-match losing streak on the road with a 4-2 win over Dundee United in their last away assignment, but Sunday's tie should be far tougher for Tony Docherty's troops.
Score prediction: Hibernian 3-1 Dundee
