Premier League Predictions - Week 38

&w=707&quality=100)
- Liverpool have conceded eight goals in their last three matches
- Newcastle have won six straight matches at St James' Park
- Only one top-six club (Newcastle) have beaten Forest at the City Ground
The Premier League reaches its conclusion this week and all eyes will be on the battle for a top-five finish as five teams scrap it out for the three remaining Champions League places.
Third-placed Manchester City head to Fulham needing a point to rubber stamp their top-five status, while the City Ground clash between Nottingham Forest and Chelsea sees two teams with Champions League hopes go head to head.
Newcastle, who sit fourth by virtue of having a better goal difference than the Blues and Aston Villa, host Everton. The Villans travel to Manchester United.
Bournemouth vs Leicester (Sunday, 4pm)
Bournemouth can sign off with an entertaining win over Leicester. Both teams have scored in eight of the Cherries' 14 league wins, and while the Foxes have long since been relegated, they have found their scoring touch in recent outings.
Score prediction: Bournemouth 2-1 Leicester
Fulham vs Manchester City (Sunday, 4pm)
Man City put FA Cup heartache behind them to beat Bournemouth 3-1 on Tuesday, and they could triumph by the same scoreline at Craven Cottage. Fulham have lost four of their last six home matches, so a third-place finish beckons for City.
Score prediction: Fulham 1-3 Man City
Ipswich vs West Ham (Sunday, 4pm)
Relegated Ipswich have lost eight straight home games and will be desperate for this season to end. West Ham are no great shakes, but Graham Potter's men beat Manchester United 2-0 in their last away match. A repeat looks likely.
Score prediction: Ipswich 0-2 West Ham
Liverpool vs Crystal Palace (Sunday, 4pm)
Crystal Palace are still on a high, following their FA Cup success with a midweek victory over Wolves, and they should take the fight to Liverpool. The champions are winless in three, conceding eight goals, and Palace could match their attacking output.
Score prediction: Liverpool 2-2 Crystal Palace
Manchester United vs Aston Villa (Sunday, 4pm)
Manchester United are at a low ebb following their Europa League final loss to Tottenham, while Aston Villa have won eight of their last nine matches and are highly motivated in their bid for the top five. Expect an away win.
Score prediction: Man Utd 0-2 Aston Villa
Newcastle vs Everton (Sunday, 4pm)
&w=707&quality=100)
Newcastle can bag a Champions League place with a victory over Everton, who could lack motivation after last week's emotional Goodison Park farewell. The Magpies are on a superb run at home, winning six on the spin and keeping clean sheets in their last three.
Score prediction: Newcastle 2-0 Everton
Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea (Sunday, 4pm)
Forest have stumbled in pursuit of the Champions League, but the Tricky Trees have claimed some big scalps at the City Ground and can add Chelsea to that list. The Blues haven't always convinced away from home, having claimed just 25 of their 66 points on their travels.
Score prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-1 Chelsea
Southampton vs Arsenal (Sunday, 4pm)
It's been a frustrating season for Arsenal, but the Gunners can sign off with a commanding win. Struggling Southampton have had a truly abysmal campaign, picking up just 12 points and conceding an average of 2.5 goals per game at home.
Score prediction: Southampton 0-3 Arsenal
Tottenham vs Brighton (Sunday, 4pm)
&w=707&quality=100)
Europa League winners Spurs could be brought back down to earth by Brighton, who head into this fixture with the possibility of sealing a Conference League place. The Seagulls have claimed 10 points from their last four matches.
Score prediction: Tottenham 1-2 Brighton
Wolves vs Brentford (Sunday, 4pm)
Brentford's remote European hopes could be extinguished by Wolves, who will be eager to finish on a high. The hosts are on a three-match losing run but had previously won six on the bounce.
Score prediction: Wolves to win 2-1
