There are seven matches in the Premier League on Saturday, kicking off at 12.30pm when Arsenal head to Leicester.

Manchester City host Newcastle in what looks like the feature game of the five 3pm matches, before Crystal Palace welcome Everton at 5.30pm.

Here are our experts' best bets for all of Saturday's games in the English top flight.

Leicester City vs Arsenal (12.30pm)

Arsenal can close the gap on leaders Liverpool by winning the early game at Leicester.

With Arne Slot's Reds not in action until Sunday but facing a winnable match against Wolves, the Gunners will know that their title chances will diminish if they fail to win at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester start the weekend in the bottom three and with Gunners captain Martin Odegaard netting in two of his last four starts, he could lead the charge for Mikel Arteta's team.

Aston Villa vs Ipswich (3pm)

Aston Villa have failed to win their last three Premier League matches but can halt that run against struggling Ipswich.

The Tractor Boys are marooned in the bottom three and have conceded 14 goals in their last four matches.

However, they have scored in four of their last five on the road, and with both teams netting in Villa's last seven at home, the visitors can at least get on the board in defeat.

Fulham vs Nottingham Forest (3pm)

Nottingham Forest have lost only one of their last 10 league games and they are closing in on a top-four finish.

They have the second-best home record in the Premier League and could extend that run at Craven Cottage.

Marco Silva's hosts, meanwhile, have failed to win their last five at home and could be vulnerable again.

Manchester City vs Newcastle (3pm)

It has been another frustrating week for Pep Guardiola
It has been another frustrating week for Pep Guardiola

Manchester City were stunned by two late goals as they lost 3-2 to Real Madrid in the Champions League and a defeat to Newcastle would further hinder their hopes of qualifying for next season's top European tournament through the league.

The Magpies also have their hopes pinned on playing in that tournament and have won their last six away games in all competitions.

Newcastle have never won at the Etihad but can more than play their part in a high-scoring contest.

Southampton vs Bournemouth (3pm)

Bournemouth are in the running for the European places and can boost their hopes by winning at Southampton.

The Saints have struggled on their Premier League return, winning just two of their 24 games and sit bottom of the table, 10 points from safety.

Bournemouth have lost just one of their last 15 in all competitions and could grab a typically entertaining victory at St Mary's.

West Ham vs Brentford (3pm)

West Ham will look to both dispel lingering relegation hopes and close the gap on Brentford, who sit five places and four points above them.

Neither team head into the game in good form, with the Hammers winless in three and the Bees victorious just one of their last five.

The pair played out a draw in the reverse fixture and could repeat that result.

Crystal Palace vs Everton (5.30pm)

Everton are unbeaten in four under David Moyes
Everton are unbeaten in four under David Moyes

Everton will hope to continue their upturn in form under David Moyes when they head to Crystal Palace in the late game.

James Tarkowski's late strike secured a point in the last-ever Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Wednesday to extend their unbeaten run in the league to four games.

Palace have picked up 13 points from the last 18 available and these two improving teams could cancel each other out.
