&w=707&quality=100)
- This will be the first competitive meeting between PSG and Inter
- PSG have never won this tournament
- Recommended bet: Paris Saint-Germain to win in normal time
Paris Saint-Germain will be hoping this is the year they win the Champions League for the first time as they prepare to face three-time European champions Inter Milan in the final at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.
Winning Europe's top competition has been the desire of PSG for several years and they find themselves one win away from becoming just the second French club to achieve that feat after Marseille, who won the inaugural Champions League in 1993.
Inter won this tournament in 2010, beating Bayern Munich 2-0 in the final, while they last contested the final in 2023 when going down to Manchester City, that coming three years after PSG had fallen at the last hurdle against the Bavarians.
Team news
Presnel Kimpembe is PSG's only confirmed absentee, with Luis Enrique having an otherwise fully fit squad to choose from for this contest.
Inter have doubts over the fitness of Benjamin Pavard, Piotr Zielinski and Yann Bisseck, although the trio are expected to at least make the bench.
The stats

PSG finished 15th in the League Phase of the Champions League, qualifying for the knockout phase play-off round.
Les Parisiens thrahsed Brest 10-0 to reach the last-16 stage. They then knocked Liverpool out on penalties in the quarter-final, edged past Aston Villa 5-4 on aggregate in the quarters before beating Arsenal in both legs in the semi-finals.
The French champions head into this clash on the back of winning the Coupe de France, a result that extended their winning streak to four matches in all competitions.
Inter ended up fourth in the League Phase, qualifying directly for the last-16 stage, where they comfortably eased past Feyenoord 4-1 on aggregate.
A thrilling 4-3 quarter-final triumph over Bayern Munich was then followed by a sensational 7-6 aggregate success over Barcelona in the semi-finals.
The Nerazzurri defeated Como 2-0 last time out, making it six games without defeat in all competitions, but that victory was not enough to win Serie A as they finished one point behind champions Napoli.
Prediction
PSG will be hoping it is second time lucky for them after losing the 2020 Champions League final and it is hard to look past them getting the job done in normal time in Munich.
Les Parisiens are full of confidence after winning Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France this season and they have showcased their class in Europe during the knockout stages, thumping Brest before then dumping out three Premier League sides.
The scoring prowess of Enrique's troops has been one of the most impressive things to note, as they have scored in 17 successive matches in all competitions, and the ease at how they cut apart the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal make them a scary proposition.
Of course, Inter boast considerable attacking talent themselves and they have scored 15 goals across their last-16, quarter-final and semi-final ties, notably seven of those coming against Barcelona in the last four.
But the Nerazzurri will be hurting after missing out on the Scudetto by one point on the final day of the domestic season and their sensational run to the final could end in disappointment for the second time in three years.
