Oldham extended their unbeaten National League run to six matches after being held to a goalless draw by Sutton at Boundary Park.
Latics goalkeeper Tom Donaghy pulled off several crucial saves to earn his side a hard-fought point.
Donaghy did well to keep out Sutton striker Will Davies’ fierce drive and at the other end Mike Fondop fired narrowly off target in a goalless first half.
Donaghy produced another superb save to deny Sutton defender Ryan Jackson early in the second period and kept out a well-struck volley from Eduino Vaz.
