Norwich vs Cardiff predictions: Former team-mates to put on a show

&w=707&quality=100)
- Five games without a win has seen Norwich slip to 14th in the table
- Cardiff’s relegation was confirmed following last week’s draw with West Brom
- Recommended bet: Bet Builder: Both teams to score & over 2.5 goals
In a league with so much to play for on the final day, it is surprising to see there is a game with practically no jeopardy taking place at Carrow Road on Saturday.
A woeful end to the season means the play-offs are now well out of reach for Norwich, while Cardiff’s relegation to League One was confirmed last weekend, despite their solid 0-0 draw with West Brom.
Both sides could let their hair down with the pressure off and, while the result in Norfolk will have no repercussions on the Championship, the fans could at least enjoy their day out.
Team news
Lucien Mahovo, Ben Chrisene and Lewis Dobbin are certain absentees for the hosts but Ante Crnac and Matej Jurasek are nearing returns and will be assessed.
Anwar El Ghazi, Jak Alnwick and Isaak Davies remain out for the Bluebirds.
With nothing to play for, both sides could give some exciting youth players a chance on the final day of the season.

The stats
Norwich have gone six games without a win.
Cardiff have gone one worse, failing to win any of their last seven matches.
Both teams scored in four of the Canaries’ last six home games.
Despite their struggles, the Bluebirds have netted on six of their last nine away days.
The pair’s last three meetings have seen both teams score in games featuring over 2.5 goals.
Cardiff’s last visit to Carrow Road resulted in a 4-1 defeat.
Prediction
It is not only Norwich and Cardiff fans who will have an interest in this game as two Arsenal heroes, Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey, will take their place in the Carrow Road dugouts.
Wilshere, a long-time team-mate of Ramsey’s at the Emirates, oversaw a 0-0 draw at Middlesbrough in his first game in charge of the Canaries but it is hard to envisage such an attack-minded player being so conservative in front of a home crowd.
He will expect more attacking flair from his Norwich side and he should get his wish given the Canaries, who have netted 67 goals, have only been outscored by Leeds (93) in the Championship this term.
Cardiff are finally playing without pressure and they can also play their part in a thriller, with Ramsey, another attacking midfielder, wishing to end a miserable season with his boyhood club on a high by getting one over his friend.
The last three meetings between this pair have seen each team net in games featuring over 2.5 goals and, with little to play for on the final day, Saturday’s clash could follow suit.
