Bromley made it back-to-back wins as top scorer Michael Cheek’s 15th goal of the season was enough to seal maximum points in a 1-0 League Two victory over Fleetwood.
Danny Imray gave early warning of his intentions when his run and shot from an angle struck the post, at the other end, Rhys Bennett sent a header narrowly wide from a corner.
Top scorer Cheek sent a header just wide on the half-hour mark as Bromley upped the ante but neither side was able to find an opener in the first 45.
Bromley got out of the traps quickly in the second half, Cheek taking advantage of defensive dithering to shoot beyond Lynch for the opening goal.
Phoenix Patterson came close to fashioning an equaliser for Fleetwood but his superb curling effort was met with a brilliant fingertip save from Grant Smith.
Then in time added on, Smith produced an even better save to somehow keep out Louis Marsh’s point-blank header to ensure Bromley held on for the victory.
