Leicester City vs Manchester United Predictions: United can triumph once more against favourite opponents

&w=707&quality=100)
- Manchester United have beaten Leicester three times already this season
- Leicester have lost their last six league and cup matches
- Recommended bet: Manchester United to win
Manchester United have enjoyed playing against Leicester more than any other team this season and they are targeting a fourth win over the Foxes in the East Midlands on Sunday night.
The Red Devils beat Leicester 5-2 in the EFL Cup in current Foxes boss Ruud van Nistelrooy's first match as their interim manager in October and he signed off from his temporary stint in charge with a 3-0 Premier League success at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim had taken over when United beat Van Nistelrooy's Leicester 2-1 in the FA Cup fourth round last month, but that was the closest match so far between the pair this term and was settled by an added-time goal from former Leicester defender Harry Maguire.
United are enjoying one of their best spells of the season with a shootout defeat to Fulham in the FA Cup the only setback in their last six matches.
Thursday's 4-1 Europa League win over Real Sociedad followed a 1-1 league draw with Arsenal, so the visitors should be hopeful of picking up what would be only their fourth away league win of the season.
Leicester are in terrible form with 13 defeats in their last 15 fixtures and while they made Chelsea work hard for a 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge last time out, they are six points away from safety in 19th place with only 10 league games left.
With Manchester City, Newcastle, Brighton and Liverpool next on their schedule, the Foxes would love to get a positive result in this game to keep hope alive.
Team news
Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has said he will have a fully-fit squad for this match with the exception of Abdul Fatawu (knee). Ricardo Pereira is fit and available after four months on the sidelines.
Manchester United will be without Lenny Yoro (foot), Kobbie Mainoo (calf), Luke Shaw (calf), Lisandro Martinez (knee) and Amad Diallo (ankle).
Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte are in contention to play and Mason Mount is available and could feature on the bench, but Patrick Dorgu is suspended. Ayden Heaven, Victor Lindelof, Toby Collyer and Christian Eriksen could be involved if Ruben Amorim decides to rotate his squad.

The stats
Manchester United have won five consecutive matches against Leicester
The teams' last four meetings have all produced at least three goals
Three of Leicester's last four Premier League games have finished with under 2.5 goals
Leicester have lost 13 of their last 15 matches
The Foxes have scored only 11 goals in 14 home Premier League games
Leicester have failed to score in four successive matches
The Red Devils have not lost any of their last six games in 90 minutes
Both teams have scored in each of United's last six matches
Prediction
Leicester have not even scored in their last four defeats and they have also lost their last six home league games without scoring, going down by at least two goals each time to Wolves, Manchester City, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Arsenal and Brentford.
United have more injury issues to contend with going into this game than their hosts but they have shown enough in recent weeks to suggest they should be capable of taking down a team they have already beaten three times this year.
The Red Devils have scored 12 goals in their last six games, while Leicester have conceded 15 goals without scoring once themselves in their last six home league matches.
United have only three away league wins this season but they have lost just one of their last seven road games in all competitions and should be able to add to Leicester's troubles with another win against the Foxes.
