Jordan Cullinane-Liburd netted a 90th-minute equaliser for Tamworth as York were knocked off the top of the National League following a 1-1 draw at the Lamb Ground.
Cullinane-Liburd nodded in a long throw from Tom Tonks to score with his side’s first effort on target, with Barnet replacing York at the summit after thrashing Ebbsfleet 4-1.
Ollie Pearce, the division’s top scorer, had earlier put York ahead with his 12th goal in nine league games, firing past goalkeeper Jas Singh in the 17th minute.
Team-mate Ricky Aguiar had rattled the crossbar minutes earlier as Tamworth, with a glamour FA Cup third-round tie at home to Tottenham awaiting them next month, made it just one win in six in the league despite their late leveller.
