James Norwood scored a first-half hat-trick as promotion-chasers Oldham thumped Tamworth 4-0 in their Vanarama National League match at Boundary Park.
Former Ipswich forward Norwood put Latics ahead in the 15th minute, drilling his shot into the bottom right corner.
Oldham were awarded a penalty in the 37th minute when Will Sutton was brought down after driving into the box, and Norwood fired the spot-kick past Lambs keeper Jas Singh.
Norward completed his treble with a header in first-half stoppage time.
Oldham substitute Josh Kay made it 4-0 in the 75th minute with a composed finish before Tamworth sub Tom Tonks crashed a late free-kick against the crossbar.
