Scott Arfield’s stunning long-range strike helped top-of-the-table Falkirk to a 2-0 victory at Morton in the William Hill Championship.
The 36-year-old Arfield, who rejoined his boyhood club earlier this month, scored his fifth goal in three matches following a debut hat-trick and a goal in a draw against Ayr last week.
He opened the scoring in the 20th minute, receiving the ball on the edge of the penalty area before curling it into the bottom right-hand corner.
Ethan Ross doubled the visitors’ lead eight minutes later and the pacesetters would not be pegged back as they made sure of three more points.
