Huddersfield returned to winning ways as they claimed a 2-1 win over Mansfield.
The visitors should have taken the lead after nine minutes as Will Evans had an open goal off the rebound from Jordan Bowery hitting a post, only to shoot wide of the unguarded net.
Huddersfield were again lucky not to go behind early in the second period, with Lasse Sorensen’s block just about enough to turn Matthew Craig’s strike around a post off a corner.
The hosts opened the scoring with their first shot on target after 69 minutes, with the unmarked Ruben Roosken calmly finding the bottom corner to finish off Ben Wiles’ square ball.
Roosken returned the favour to make it 2-0 after 80 minutes, exchanging passes with Wiles to find him at the back post for a well-taken finish.
Having wasted several presentable chances, Mansfield finally got their goal as substitute Dominic Dwyer headed home Aaron Lewis’ crossed free-kick from a narrow angle to set up a nervy finish, but Huddersfield held on.
