Port Vale came from two goals down to snatch a last-gasp 2-2 draw with Grimsby and remain on course for automatic promotion from League Two.
Captain Danny Rose broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 23rd minute after he pounced on the rebound from Charles Vernam’s shot.
Vale’s best chance of the first half fell to Lorent Tolaj, who fired wide of the mark.
After the break Grimsby goalkeeper Jake Eastwood produced a great stop to keep out Nathan Smith’s header.
Grimsby got a penalty when Evan Khouri was fouled in the box and Rose coolly doubled his tally from 12 yards.
The Valiants hit back with 12 minutes to go as Tolaj stroked home from close range.
Eastwood pulled off a great save from substitute Rico Richards and Justin Obikwu could have put the game to bed but was denied by Ben Amos.
Instead Jesse Debrah was on hand to level with virtually the last kick of the game.
