Grimsby secured their fourth win in a row with a 2-1 triumph over Fleetwood at Blundell Park.
George McEachran and Danny Rose scored either side of a Ryan Gradon strike to give the home side another win, keeping them within a point of the League Two play-off places.
The Mariners took the lead in the 23rd minute. McEachran netted his first goal for the club with a brilliant long-range striker that dipped just under Jay Lynch’s crossbar.
McEachran’s goal was the only moment of significance in the first half, with the visitors unable to register a shot on target.
Fleetwood did have the better of the early second-half play and found an equaliser in the 62nd minute as Gradon could latch onto a long ball forward and lob over Jordan Wright.
Grimsby were back in front just three minutes later as Rose powered in a header from a Denver Hume cross – a 10th league goal of the season for the Grimsby captain and a 10th assist for the latter.
