Austrian Sepp Straka has been one of the most consistent players on tour this season, with only Scheffler and McIlroy ahead of him in the FedEx Cup standings.

The 32-year-old's strong tee-to-green game, which has him ranked seventh in strokes gained in that department, should stand him in good stead at TPC Southwind, a course that demands precision.

Straka has won twice this season, the most recent of those coming at the Truist Championship in May, and he will be eager to keep his form going with an automatic spot in Europe's Ryder Cup team also on his mind.

Fitzpatrick to get into Memphis mix

Matt Fitzpatrick has picked up over the last couple of months and he heads into this event in strong form, with his last four starts producing efforts of T8-T4-T4-T8.

Those back-to-back top-five results came at the Scottish Open and the Open before he then returned to the PGA Tour last week and registered a positive top-10 finish.

Something has clicked for the Englishman, who endured a miserable start to the campaign, and he looks a dangerous contender this week at a course he has previous at.

Fitzpatrick has notched two top-five finishes at TPC Southwind, along with a top-10 and a tie for 18th in six total appearances here, and he looks to have every chance of lifting the trophy in Memphis.
