Belgian Grand Prix predictions: Norris can secure Spa success

McLaren’s Lando Norris is on a two-race winning streak ahead of the Belgian GP
Charles Leclerc has finished on the podium in the last two years at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
Recommended bets:
Lando Norris will still be on a high as he goes into the build-up for this Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix after winning his first British Grand Prix last time out.
Backing up a victory in Austria, Norris was able to narrow the gap to McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri to just eight points in the Drivers’ Championship thanks to a maiden win at Silverstone.
With McLaren 238 points clear of Ferrari at the top of the Constructors’ Championship, it’s clear Norris and Piastri have been the standout performers going into the second half of the 2025 Formula 1 season.
The stats
A win for Norris at the Belgian Grand Prix would see him go level with Piastri on five race wins this season.
Norris has won seven F1 races since he last raced at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in 2024 when he finished in fifth place.
The win at the British Grand Prix earlier this month was the first time Norris has recorded back-to-back race victories in his F1 career.
Ferrari ace Charles Leclerc has a good record at Spa, finishing in third place on his last two visits.
Leclerc finds himself in fifth place in the Drivers’ Championship and will be looking for his fifth podium finish of the season on Sunday.
Prediction
Having come out on top in his last two races, Norris seems to have found his rhythm going into the push in the second half of the 2025 season.
Norris has come on tremendously since his fifth-place finish at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on his last visit and the Brit is good value to beat his McLaren team-mate Piastri for the chequered flag at the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend.
Meanwhile, Leclerc has some fond memories of his race and is another good price to earn a podium finish on Sunday.
Securing his first-ever F1 win with Ferrari at the Belgian Grand Prix back in 2019, Leclerc has finished third on his last two visits to this venue.
With four podium finishes to his name already this season, the Monegasque star can secure another top-three finish this weekend.
