Serie A predictions - Week 6

AC Milan went top with last week's win over Napoli
Juventus, Atalanta and Cremonese all remain unbeaten after five games
Fiorentina are one of five teams yet to pick up a league win
There is a new leader in Serie A as AC Milan’s stunning 2-1 win over Napoli saw them usurp the champions at the summit last weekend.
Things don’t get any easier for the Rossoneri, however, as they head to Juventus for the pick of this week’s Serie A fixtures, all of which have been previewed below.
Verona vs Sassuolo (Friday, 7.45pm)
With the hosts scoring just two goals while winning no matches and Sassuolo losing all three of their away games this term, a low-quality affair can be expected in Verona, where the points are set to be shared.
Score prediction: Verona 0-0 Sassuolo
Lazio vs Torino (Saturday, 2pm)
Lazio bounced back from a derby defeat by routing Genoa 3-0 but they have won just two of their last 14 Serie A home games, suggesting Torino, who beat Roma at Stadio Olimpico last month, can leave with a point.
Score prediction: Lazio 1-1 Torino
Parma vs Lecce (Saturday, 2pm)
Basement boys Lecce are still searching for a first win of the season but that is unlikely to come at Parma, who have drawn with high-flying Cremonese and beaten Torino in their last two games.
Score prediction: Parma 1-0 Lecce
Inter Milan vs Cremonese (Saturday, 5pm)
Surprise package Cremonese have hung on to their unbeaten record by drawing their last three games but Inter are looking back to their best, winning four straight matches by an aggregate 9-1 scoreline, and they can finally snap the visitors’ sensational streak.
Score prediction: Inter 2-0 Cremonese
Atalanta vs Como (Saturday, 7.45pm)
Como continue to punch above their weight, avoiding defeat in their last four games, and can pinch a point off Atalanta, who were made to work hard by Club Brugge on Tuesday in the Champions League and are yet to keep a clean sheet in Bergamo this term.
Score prediction: Atalanta 2-2 Como
Udinese vs Cagliari (Sunday, 11.30pm)
These sides are locked on seven points and have each scored just five goals in as many games — expect a close and tetchy affair in Udine.
Score prediction: Udinese 0-0 Cagliari
Bologna vs Pisa (Sunday, 2pm)
While mid-table is not where they would like to be at this stage, Bologna have won both of their Serie A home games and can continue to fly up the standings by beating Pisa, who have just two points to their name.
Score prediction: Bologna 2-0 Pisa
Fiorentina vs Roma (Sunday, 2pm)
Still searching for a first league win of the season, it is hard to see Fiorentina taking any points off Gian Piero Gasperini’s in-form Roma, who have won four of their five Serie A games without conceding.
Score prediction: Fiorentina 0-1 Roma
Napoli vs Genoa (Sunday, 5pm)
Last week’s loss to Milan was far from ideal but Napoli are the reigning champions for a reason and Antonio Conte’s men should have no issues bouncing back against a Genoa side still searching for a first league win of the campaign.
Score prediction: Napoli 3-0 Genoa
Juventus vs AC Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)
Massimiliano Allegri would love to get one over his former employers Juventus but the Old Lady are just one point off the Serie A leaders and it seems likely the spoils will be shared for the third time in four league head-to-heads.
Score prediction: Juventus 1-1 AC Milan
