The new Premier League season continues this weekend with 10 matches spread across four days, starting with Friday's contest at the London Stadium between West Ham and Chelsea.

We have picked out some key team news for the big games taking place.

Manchester City vs Tottenham (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Manchester City and Tottenham started the season with convincing victories and an entertaining contest is expected when this attacking pair clash at the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens will be without Savinho and Mateo Kovacic due to injuries, but Josko Gvardiol has been spotted back in training and he could be involved in the matchday squad.

Ederson missed the win over Wolves last weekend because of a stomach bug and he should be back in contention, although he faces a fight for the number one spot with James Trafford.

Phil Foden and Rodri travelled to Molineux on the opening weekend but were not included in the squad and the pair are doubtful.

As for Tottenham, Dejan Kulusevski, Koto Takai, Radu Dragusin and ACL victim James Maddison are all sidelined, while Destiny Udogie is making progress in his recovery from a knee injury.

Manor Solomon only returned to training last week after missing pre-season but he could be named in the matchday squad.

Arsenal vs Leeds (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Arsenal will be looking to build from their 1-0 win over Manchester United when they welcome Leeds, who edged past Everton by the same scoreline on Monday, to the Emirates.

The Gunners are closing in on a deal for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, but he will not be involved in this match even if a deal goes through, while there are four first-team players expected to miss out.

Kai Havertz is set for a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury, joining Gabriel Jesus in the treatment room, while Ben White and Christian Norgaard are both expected to miss out.

Leeds are able to call upon Jaka Bijol, who has completed his suspension from his time in Italy, but Ethan Ampadu has been ruled out until after the international break with an MCL injury.

New signings Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be named in the matchday squad.

Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest (Sunday, 2pm)

Crystal Palace welcome Nottingham Forest to Selhurst Park on Sunday with the hosts beginning life without talisman Eberechi Eze, who is on the verge of joining Arsenal.

Chadi Riad, Cheick Doucoure, Eddie Nketiah, Matheus Franca and Caleb Kporha are all out injured, but there is hope that Daichi Kamada will be fit enough to at least take a place on the bench.

Forest midfielder Nicolas Dominguez will be out until late autumn after undergoing knee surgery, but that is the club's only injury concern.

New signings Omari Hutchinson, James McAtee and Arnaud Kalimuendo will all be hoping to make their debuts, but fellow summer recruit Douglas Luiz is unlikely to be involved after arriving on Thursday.

Newcastle vs Liverpool (Monday, 8pm)

Monday's contest will see Newcastle take on Liverpool at St James' Park and there is extra spice added to this fixture given the Reds' pursuit of wantaway Magpies striker Alexander Isak.

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has confirmed the Sweden international will not be involved, but recent signing Jacob Ramsey is in contention and should be included in the matchday squad.

Joe Willock has returned to training for the Magpies after it initially looked like he would be out for longer, though he is likely to miss this contest.

Liverpool defender Jeremie Frimpong has been ruled out until after the September international break, while Conor Bradley has only just returned to training and looks set to miss out again.

Ryan Gravenberch is available after serving his ban and could straight back into the starting XI.
