Bournemouth vs Fulham predictions: Cherries look the pick against Cottagers

Bournemouth go into the match sitting sixth on 11 points
Fulham are just three points worse off than their hosts but find themselves in 11th
Recommended bet: Bournemouth to win
Bournemouth needed a late Eli Junior Kroupi strike to salvage a draw from last week’s trip to Leeds and while the result left them with two points less than they would have expected, the last-gasp equaliser means momentum is still rife in the Cherries camp.
Andoni Iraola’s side are unbeaten in five Premier League matches and know a win on Friday would see them move up to second.
That motivation should hold Bournemouth in good stead ahead of a visit from a Fulham side still reeling from last Sunday’s 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa.

Team news
Bournemouth boss Iraola had targeted this match for Lewis Cook and Adam Smith’s returns but with the Cherries doing well and the international break on the horizon, it is hard to see either being risked.
The hosts will also be without long-term absentee Enes Unal but at least they have replacements available unlike Fulham, whose two strikers, Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz, are both set to miss out alongside Kenny Tete.

Prediction
Eight points from six games represents a solid if not spectacular return for Fulham but last week’s fairly comprehensive defeat at Villa will have affected confidence and another tricky away game comes next.
Having lost on their last three visits to the Vitality, the Cottagers know as well as anybody how strong Bournemouth are at home and Marco Silva’s task has been made even harder by injuries to both of his natural strikers.
With Jimenez and Muniz absent, the Portuguese will have to be creative with his team selection, but a lack of firepower could cost them against a side who have conceded just three goals in their last five Premier League games.
Bournemouth have no such striking issues, with Evanilson, Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo all starting the season strongly, and they look well prepared to extend their Premier League unbeaten run to six games with another victory.
