Nice host Roma in the Europa League on Wednesday night on the back of a heavy 4-1 defeat by Brest in Ligue 1.
It was a fifth loss of the season for the Eagles, who missed out on the Champions League league phase after being beaten home and away in qualifying by Portuguese giants Benfica.
Nice have beaten Nantes and Auxerre at the Allianz Riviera, but Roma will pose an altogether different test.
Gian Piero Gasperini's men arrive in France with huge confidence after defeating city rivals Lazio 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A on Sunday.

Team news
Mohamed Ali-Cho could feature after overcoming a knock to make his first appearance of the season from the bench at Brest.
Tanguy Ndombele is still sidelined following surgery in the summer, while Ali Abdi also has a groin injury.
Midfielder Youssouf Ndayishimiye and defender Mohamed Abdelmonem are yet to feature this season due to cruciate injuries. Moise Bombito has also been sidelined since the summer with a shin issue.
Roma are still without winger Leon Bailey, who suffered a muscle injury last month.
Defender Mario Hermoso will be assessed after missing the win over Lazio with a calf complaint, while Brazil international Wesley could also return.
The stats
This will be Nice's first ever meeting with Roma. The French side have previously lost each of their seven European matches against sides from Italy, with the last a 4-1 defeat by Lazio in last season's Europa League.
Roma have lost just two of their 11 games in European competition against French sides and have claimed victory in four of the last five since March 2007.
Last season in the Europa League Nice were just one of two sides to fail to win any of their eight league phase games, with only four sides conceding more goals than their 16.
Roma have won 42 matches in the Europa League from 2009/10 onwards, with only Villarreal (54) and Sevilla (48) winning more matches in that timeframe.

Prediction
Nice have had a stop-start season thus far and are yet to put a consistent run of form together.
Beating Auxerre was followed by a loss at Le Harve, while the clean sheet and victory earned at home to Nantes was far from replicated when the team let in four at Brest.
With the French side failing to get their house in order so far and a number of players still missing, Roma should possess too much quality and win a fourth game in five.
The Giallorossi have kept a trio of clean sheets and won three of their four Serie A matches by 1-0 margins, while their only loss was a narrow defeat to Torino by the same scoreline.
In Nice on Wednesday, the Italian giants may well have greater success in front of goal and earn their most comprehensive victory of the season so far as Nice continue to show frailties in defence.
