All 12 Championship weekend games predictions - Week 6

Middlesbrough are top of the standings with 13 points from a possible 15
Sheffield United prop up the table after five consecutive defeats
Sheffield Wednesday and Oxford United are also yet to win a game
The table is beginning to take shape in the second tier of English football heading into Week 6 of the 2025/26 Championship season.
Middlesbrough lead the way at the top of the standings on 13 points, with fellow former Premier League side Stoke City just a point behind.
The big news from the Championship this week was the return of Chris Wilder for a third spell in charge of Sheffield United following the brief tenure of Ruben Selles.
Wilder will be looking to give the Blades a boost as they go in search of their first points of the season on Saturday at Bramall Lane.
We have got score predictions for all 12 fixtures.
Middlesbrough vs West Brom (Friday, 8pm)
There is a heavyweight showdown to kick off proceedings on Friday night as Middlesbrough host West Brom at The Riverside.
Boro have won all of their last three games against the Baggies to nil and that trend might well continue this week.
Score prediction: Middlesbrough 1-0 West Bromwich Albion
Birmingham City vs Swansea City (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Losing 2-0 to Leicester and 1-0 to Stoke, goals have dried up for Birmingham in their last two games as they prepare to host Swansea at St Andrew's on Saturday lunchtime.
Unbeaten in their last four games, the Swans head into this game with momentum, but might have to settle for their third draw of the season.
Score prediction: Birmingham City 1-1 Swansea City
Leicester City vs Coventry City (Saturday, 12.30pm)
No team has earned more draws than Coventry in the Championship this season, with the Sky Blues drawing three of their first five games.
Taking on a strong Leicester side at the King Power on Saturday, another stalemate might well be on the cards in this Midlands showdown.
Score prediction: Leicester City 1-1 Coventry City
Queens Park Rangers vs Stoke City (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Having conceded just three goals in the Championship so far this season, Stoke are good value for an away win at QPR.
The R’s have enjoyed a recent upturn in fortunes, but their defensive frailty remains and the Potters can take advantage.
Score prediction: Queens Park Rangers 0-1 Stoke City
Blackburn Rovers vs Ipswich Town (Saturday, 3pm)
With just one win in their first five games, life back in the Championship has not been straightforward for Ipswich ahead of their trip to Blackburn.
Rovers have won two of their last three games and are worth backing for the three points at Ewood Park.
Score prediction: Blackburn Rovers 2-1 Ipswich Town
Derby County vs Preston North End (Saturday, 3pm)
Having stunned West Brom to earn their first win of the season, Derby can build on that performance when they host Preston.
The Rams have won to nil in their last two home games against the Lilywhites and can repeat that feat on Saturday.
Score prediction: Derby County 1-0 Preston North End
Hull City vs Southampton (Saturday, 3pm)
Southampton have also managed just one win in the second tier following relegation from the Premier League, but they can get back to winning ways against Hull City at MKM Stadium.
The Tigers are languishing down in 20th place in the standings and, having failed to win any of their last three games, Saints can claim all three points in East Yorkshire.
Score prediction: Hull City 1-2 Southampton
Norwich City vs Wrexham (Saturday, 3pm)
Wrexham are quickly learning the level required for wins in the Championship and next they face a tough trip to Norwich.
The Canaries have lost just one of their last four games and at Carrow Road they can put the Red Dragons to the sword.
Score prediction: Norwich City 2-0 Wrexham
Portsmouth vs Sheffield Wednesday (Saturday, 3pm)
Knocked out of the EFL Cup in midweek by League Two Grimsby, Sheffield Wednesday switch focus back to their struggles in the Championship.
With four defeats in their first five games, it is hard to see the Owls getting anything from their trip to ninth-placed Portsmouth on Saturday.
Score prediction: Portsmouth 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield United vs Charlton Athletic (Saturday, 3pm)
The return of Wilder comes at a bad time for Charlton, who would have been hoping to add to Sheffield United's woes under Selles on Saturday.
Wilder knows how to give the Blades a lift and the experienced manager can help the South Yorkshire outfit land their first win and points of the season.
Score prediction: Sheffield United 1-0 Charlton Athletic
Bristol City vs Oxford United (Sunday, 3pm)
Sunday's only game from the Championship sees third-placed Bristol City host winless Oxford United at Ashton Gate.
The Robins are flying high in the table and, on the back of wins over Hull and Sheff Wed, City are backed to add to the U's' woes at the wrong end of the table.
Score prediction: Bristol City 3-0 Oxford United
Millwall vs Watford (Monday, 8pm)
Neither Millwall nor Watford are in great form going into Monday's showdown at The Den.
With just three wins combined for these teams form 10 Championship games this term, victories have been hard to come by and a draw might well be on cards in this one.
Score prediction: Millwall 0-0 Watford
