Leicester vs Sheffield Wednesday predictions: Ayew ready to star for Foxes

Leicester finished 18th in the Premier League last season, 13 points adrift of safety
Wednesday have just 15 senior players for trip to the East Midlands
Recommended bet: Jordan Ayew to score at any time
Leicester are desperate to put a miserable Premier League campaign behind them when they begin their Championship quest on Sunday and they could have hardly been given a more straightforward assignment.
The Foxes, now under the guidance of Marti Cifuentes, face Sheffield Wednesday, whose very existence is in doubt as they deal with severe financial problems and new manager Henrik Pedersen has just 15 players to select from for the troubled outfit's visit to the East Midlands.

Team news
The hosts are hopeful that full-back James Justin will be fit enough to take his place against the Owls, but the game looks to have come too early for both Ricardo Pereira and Victor Kristiansen.
It looks like being a case of who Wednesday can manage to field, but they have at least been boosted by the news that influential midfielder Barry Bannan has signed a new contract and big things will be expected from him in the middle of the park.
The stats
Wednesday have won just one of their last nine matches, while both teams have scored in four of the Owls' last five Championship games.
Leicester won both of their final two home games last season by 2-0 scorelines.
The Foxes scored just 15 goals at the King Power Stadium on their way to relegation from the Premier League last season.
There have been at least two goals in 15 of the last 16 matches between these two teams.

Prediction
Wednesday's summer of financial issues means that Leicester are set to go off at a very short price to collect three points from their opening league game at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
There seems little value to be had with getting with the home side, even though they did beat Southampton and Ipswich in their final two home games of a miserable Premier League campaign, which should give them plenty of confidence against the favourites to finish bottom of the Championship.
It is difficult to assess what sort of resources new Wednesday boss Henrik Pedersen will have at his disposal, but they could have problems keeping the Foxes at bay.
One player to keep an eye out for is Jordan Ayew, who could be charged with leading the Foxes' forward line now club legend Jamie Vardy has left.
Ayew has stepped into the breach well in pre-season, scoring the first goal in Sunday's 2-0 friendly win over Serie A side Fiorentina last weekend. He looks a decent price to find the net again.
