Marseille have won their last three Ligue 1 matches
Ajax are unbeaten in the Eredivisie this season
Recommended bet: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score anytime
Marseille are on a fine run of form at the moment in Ligue 1, winning their last three matches in the competition to sit just three points behind PSG at the top of the table.
This run includes an impressive 1-0 triumph against the reigning champions and Roberto De Zerbi will be aiming for a first Champions League win of the season, having lost 2-1 at Real Madrid last time out.
Ajax also suffered defeat on matchday one, going down 2-0 to Inter Milan, but John Heitinga's men are unbeaten in the Eredivisie so far this season, winning four and drawing three of their opening seven matches.

Team news
Geoffrey Kondogbia was subbed off against Real Madrid and hasn't appeared for Marseille since, while Ruben Blanco and Hamed Traore will likely miss this Champions League match due to injuries.
Ajax could be without Branco van den Boomen once again, while Kasper Dolberg missed the clash against NAC Breda with a minor knock and this game might come too soon for the Dane.
These are the only two injury concerns for Heitinga, who has a near full-strength squad at his disposal.
The stats
Marseille and Ajax have met just twice in Europe's premier club competition. These games came during the 1971/72 season, with the Dutch side winning 4-1 and 2-1 respectively in the second round.
By the end of that campaign, Ajax would seal their second successive European Cup.
The two teams also met in the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1987/88, with Ajax prevailing over two legs.
Since then, four more games have been played between them, with Ajax failing to win a single one.
Ajax have scored 14 goals so far this season compared to Marseille's total of 13, but they have conceded nine goals compared to just six for the home side.
Veteran striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored five goals against Ajax across just two matches, which includes a hat-trick in their last meeting in the 2023/24 Europa League group stages.

Prediction
De Zerbi's side will take a lot of confidence from the recent 1-0 victory over PSG in Ligue 1.
The French side were unlucky to lose to Los Blancos last time out, with Kylian Mbappe scoring the winner with 10 minutes left to play.
Aubameyang netted in the 2-1 win over Strasbourg at the weekend and, with three goals this season, plus his fine record against Ajax, he will fancy his chances of adding to that tally on Tuesday.
Ajax have yet to win an away match this season and it looks as though Marseille could prove too strong for Heitinga's side at the Stade Velodrome.
