English pair Newcastle and Chelsea go in search of their first points
Matchday 2 of the Champions League takes place across Tuesday and Wednesday this week, with 18 matches split evenly over the two days.
There are some fixtures to get stuck into, including Atletico Madrid's visit from Eintracht Frankfurt and reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain's trip to Barcelona.
Tuesday - Atalanta vs Club Brugge (5.45pm)
Club Brugge thrashed Monaco 4-1 in matchday 1 and they will be fancying more goals when they head to Atalanta, who were defeated 4-0 in their League Phase opener by PSG.
The Belgian outfit, who beat La Dea 5-2 on aggregate in the knockout phase play-off round last season, were involved in a thrilling 5-5 draw last midweek against Westerlo and there should be plenty of goals when these two meet in Bergamo.
Score prediction: Atalanta 2-2 Club Brugge
Tuesday - Kairat Almaty vs Real Madrid (5.45pm)
Real Madrid's perfect start to the season was ended by Atletico Madrid at the weekend, as Xabi Alonso's side went down 5-2, but Los Blancos have a real opportunity to bounce back against a Kairat side who were outclassed 4-1 by Sporting in their opening European fixture.
Score prediction: Kairat 0-4 Real Madrid
Tuesday - Atletico Madrid vs Eintracht Frankfurt (8pm)
Three of Atletico's last four matches have produced five goals or more and another high-scoring match is in store when they host Eintracht Frankfurt, who have seen 41 strikes in their seven fixtures this season.
Score prediction: Atletico Madrid 4-2 Eintracht Frankfurt
Tuesday - Chelsea vs Benfica (8pm)
Chelsea have lost three of their last four games in all competitions and they now face a visit from former manager Jose Mourinho, who has won two and drawn one of his three matches since returning to the Benfica dugout after 25 years.
Score prediction: Chelsea 1-2 Benfica
Tuesday - Inter vs Slavia Prague (8pm)
Inter head into Tuesday's visit of Slavia Prague on a three-game winning streak, which started with a 2-0 success over Ajax in the Champions League, and the Italian outfit should have enough to register another victory at home.
Score prediction: Inter 2-0 Slavia Prague
Tuesday - Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham (8pm)
Bodo/Glimt, unbeaten in their last six home matches in all competitions, have a chance for revenge when they host Tottenham, who beat the Norwegian outfit in last season's Europa League semi-finals.
Spurs have impressed on the road this term, winning two and drawing one of their three assignments, and a point would not be a bad result for Thomas Frank's side after they defeated Villarreal on Matchday 1.
Score prediction: Bodo/Glimt 1-1 Tottenham
Tuesday - Galatasaray vs Liverpool (8pm)
Galatasaray have won all three home games this season and they may be able to get something from this visit of Liverpool, who were defeated 2-1 at Crystal Palace on Saturday and have looked fragile at the back.
Score prediction: Galatasaray 1-1 Liverpool
Tuesday - Marseille vs Ajax (8pm)
Ajax are yet to win away from home this season, recording three score draws, and they could be in for further disappointment on their travels when they face a Marseille side who have won all three fixtures at the Stade Velodrome this term.
Score prediction: Marseille 3-1 Ajax
Tuesday - Pafos vs Bayern Munich (8pm)
Bayern Munich overcame Chelsea 3-1 in their Champions League opener and they will be confident of extending their perfect away record this season to five wins when facing Cyprus minnows Pafos.
Score prediction: Pafos 0-3 Bayern Munich
Wednesday - Qarabag vs Copenhagen (5.45pm)
Unbeaten in five matches, Qarabag will be eager to continue their fine form when they host a Copenhagen side who have just one win in their last four away Champions League fixtures.
Score prediction: Qarabag 2-1 Copenhagen
Wednesday - Union Saint-Gilloise vs Newcastle United (5.45pm)
Winners of five matches in a row and eight of their last nine, Union Saint-Gilloise will be eyeing another success at the expense of a Newcastle United side who have failed to score on their travels this season.
Score prediction: Union Saint-Gilloise 2-0 Newcastle United
Wednesday - Arsenal vs Olympiacos (8pm)
Arsenal have suffered just one defeat in all competitions this season but they will be wary of hosting an Olympiacos side who have won each of their last three trips to the Emirates.
Score prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Olympiacos
Wednesday - Monaco vs Manchester City (8pm)
Monaco's home form has been strong this season, recording three wins from three, but they may struggle to extend that perfect run when hosting a Manchester City team who have won four of their last five matches.
Score prediction: Monaco 1-3 Manchester City
Wednesday - Bayer Leverkusen vs PSV (8pm)
Bayer Leverkusen are unbeaten under new manager Kasper Hjulmand, winning two and drawing two, but they may struggle to contain a PSV side who are on an eight-game winning run away from home.
Score prediction: Bayer Leverkusen 1-2 PSV
Wednesday - Borussia Dortmund vs Athletic Bilbao (8pm)
Borussia Dortmund's 2-0 victory over Mainz at the weekend extended their unbeaten start to the season and they will be confident of getting the better of Athletic Bilbao, who suffered a fourth defeat in their last five games at Villarreal on Saturday.
Score prediction: Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Athletic Bilbao
Wednesday - Barcelona vs Paris Saint‑Germain (8pm)
Barcelona have won six games in a row ahead of Wednesday's visit of Paris Saint-Germain, who have recorded 4-1 victories on their last two visits to the Catalans.
Another entertaining contest is expected between two teams who started off their European campaigns' with victories.
Score prediction: Barcelona 2-2 Paris Saint-Germain
Wednesday - Villarreal vs Juventus (8pm)
Juventus produced a late comeback to draw 4-4 against Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League opener, but they face a stern challenge against a Villarreal side who have won their last eight home matches and last tasted defeat at the Estadio de la Ceramica in March.
Score prediction: Villarreal 2-2 Juventus
Wednesday - Napoli vs Sporting (8pm)
Napoli have not lost at home since December 2024 but that impressive record will be put to the test against Sporting, who have not lost on their travels since January this year.
Score prediction: Napoli 1-1 Sporting
