Bayern playmaker Jamal Musiala remains sidelined following summer surgery after breaking and dislocating his ankle at the Club World Cup.

Alphonso Davies is also out as he recovers from a serious ACL injury, while Nicolas Jackson, who joined Bayern on loan from Chelsea on deadline day, is not prohibited from facing his parent club.
