Recommended bets:
- Freiburg to win at Wolfsburg
- Eintracht Frankfurt to beat RB Leipzig
- Como to beat Genoa
- Nantes to beat Toulouse
- Werder Bremen to beat St Pauli
We have picked out five teams worth backing across Germany, France and Italy this weekend.
Recommended five-fold: Freiburg, Eintracht Frankfurt, Como, Nantes and Werder Bremen at almost 49/1 with LiveScore Bet.
Saturday, 2.30pm
Freiburg have the Champions League spots in sight in Germany’s Bundesliga as they sit just one point adrift of RB Leipzig in fourth place.
However, the battle in Germany’s top tier for those European places is intense as just seven points separate Eintracht Frankfurt in third from Werder Bremen in eighth — so Freiburg have plenty to play for this weekend.
The Breisgau-Brasilianer should be able to claim the spoils at out-of-sorts Wolfsburg as the hosts have little left to play for and are winless in six (D2, L4).
Freiburg head to the Volkswagen Arena after back-to-back wins and they look good value to make it three in a row on Saturday.
Saturday, 5.30pm
The late game in Germany on Saturday is a crucial one in that fight for Champions League football as third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt host an RB Leipzig side who sit immediately below them.
Frankfurt can make home advantage count though as Leipzig have been poor travellers all season, and have managed just one win in their last 10 away from home across all competitions.

Most of the Serie A action this weekend takes place on Sunday and in the early kick off in-form Como can make it four wins on the spin when they take on Genoa.
Como have won their last three games and are unbeaten in four at home (W2, D2).
They next face a Genoa side who have managed just four wins in 16 attempts away from home in Serie A and the last of those victories came back in December, a run stretching eight games (D4, L4).
Nantes sit four points clear of the drop zone in France’s Ligue 1 with four games remaining and they can boost their survival hopes by making home advantage count against a Toulouse side in freefall on Sunday.
Toulouse have lost their last five and are winless in six, while Nantes claimed an unlikely point against Paris Saint-Germain last weekend and have been picking up results at home with just two defeats in their last eight at this venue.
Sunday, 4.30pm
St Pauli picked up an impressive point against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend to move on to 30 points, which will probably be enough to avoid a return to Bundesliga 2 as they are now eight points clear of danger with just four games to play.
The Hamburg side may have to wait a little longer to guarantee survival, however, as Sunday’s trip to in-form Werder Bremen looks a tough prospect.
Bremen could potentially move into the European spots with a victory and they are on a four-game winning run, so Sunday’s game against a team who emptied the tank against Bayer last weekend looks a good chance to extend their hot streak.
