- Leaders Napoli take on unbeaten Juventus
- Como face a tough visit of Atalanta
- Inter head to Lecce

The Serie A campaign is now past the halfway point, with little between the sides competing for the title, Europe and survival.

This weekend’s fixtures include leaders Napoli hosting unbeaten Juventus, while Champions League hopefuls Lazio and Fiorentina go head-to-head.

Torino vs Cagliari (Friday, 7.45pm)

Torino’s home matches this season have averaged just 1.7 goals per game, so do not expect much entertainment in Turin.

Il Toro have also passed up plenty of chances to gain points against the sides below them, drawing three of four at home.

With Cagliari winning only two of their 10 trips, a low-scoring draw could be on the cards.

Score prediction: Torino 1-1 Cagliari

Como vs Atalanta (Saturday, 2pm)

Atalanta had a huge win in midweek, beating Sturm Graz 5-0 as they closed in on a top-eight finish in the Champions League.

La Dea lost ground in the Scudetto race with a 3-2 loss to Napoli last weekend, but they can bounce back against Como, who have one point from four clashes at home to the top eight, scoring four goals and conceding 11.

Score prediction: Como 1-3 Atalanta

Napoli vs Juventus (Saturday, 5pm)

Juventus have drawn too many games this season, with 13 of their 21 matches finishing level. The Old Lady remain unbeaten in the league, although six of their 10 away clashes have been drawn.

However, Juve have won just once in their last six across all competitions. They lost 2-1 to Milan in the Super Cup earlier this month, so a Napoli side who have won six on the spin can chalk up another victory.

Score prediction: Napoli 1-0 Juventus

Empoli vs Bologna (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Empoli have lost five of their last six matches, with both teams scoring in each of their previous five.

They meet a Bologna side who are building up momentum, following victories over Monza and Borussia Dortmund. The Rossoblu conceded in both of those wins, so another high-scoring success appeals.

Score prediction: Empoli 1-2 Bologna

AC Milan vs Parma (Sunday, 11.30am)

Parma have slowed since starting the season as the league’s entertainers. They have failed to score across their last three trips, while Milan have won 3-0 (twice) and 4-0 in their three home meetings with the bottom six.

Score prediction: Milan 3-0 Parma

Udinese vs Roma (Sunday, 2pm)

Roma are winless on the road but their form has improved under Claudio Ranieri, going unbeaten in their last five league games.

The Giallorossi have won their last four against Udinese and may be able to claim another win.

Score prediction: Udinese 1-2 Roma

Lecce vs Inter Milan (Sunday, 5pm)

Lecce have lost nine of their 10 clashes with the top 10, including seven losses to nil. Inter Milan have conceded just five times in nine trips, while they’ve scored 25 times in return.

Score prediction: Lecce 0-3 Inter

Lazio vs Fiorentina (7.45pm)

Lazio returned to form with a 3-0 victory over Hellas Verona last weekend, while they have won six of 10 home matches in the league.

Fiorentina are winless away to top-half sides, while they have taken two points from their last six in Serie A.

Score prediction: Lazio 2-1 Fiorentina

Venezia vs Verona (Monday, 5.30pm)

Two of the bottom three meet, with Venezia at risk of being cut adrift. The hosts are five points shy of safety and they have already lost twice at home to fellow bottom-five sides.

Score prediction: Venezia 1-2 Verona

Genoa vs Monza (Monday, 7.45pm)

Genoa have been short on goals at home, but they should have little trouble against bottom side Monza.

The visitors have lost seven of their last eight, suffering five 2-1 defeats in that spell. Four of Genoa’s five wins this term have come by a single goal.

Score prediction: Genoa 2-1 Monza
