Scottish Premiership predictions - Week 36

&w=707&quality=100)
- Hibernian are in pole position to finish third but face champions Celtic at Parkhead
- Rangers have not won any of their last four games in Scottish Premiership
- Bottom two go head to head at McDiarmid Park with six points between them
Celtic have already secured another Scottish Premiership title, but there looks a strong chance their home clash with Hibernian could be an entertaining affair with their opponents looking to finish third, which would guarantee them a Europa League spot.
Aberdeen will hope to boost their European ambitions when they head to Rangers on Sunday, but relegation will be on everyone’s mind at McDiarmid Park where St Johnstone and Ross County face a crunch clash.
Celtic vs Hibernian (Saturday, 3pm)
Hibernian are aiming to finish third in the Scottish Premiership after a sticky start to the season and have scored in nine of their last 12 away games, but Celtic should put on a show after confirming their title.
Expect plenty of goals at Parkhead where the Bhoys have scored at least twice in their last 23 league games.
Score prediction: Celtic 3-1 Hibernian
Dundee United vs St Mirren (Saturday, 3pm)
It is worth looking at the visitors to win this one as United have lost five of their last seven games on their own patch. They have conceded eight goals in their last two games and St Mirren can claim success after suffering just one loss in their last six.
Score prediction: Dundee United 1-2 St Mirren
Hearts vs Motherwell (Saturday, 3pm)
Hearts claimed a 3-1 win at struggling Ross County last week, but that came after four straight games when they failed to find the net so they could be vulnerable when Motherwell head to the capital.
Well will have been disappointed to have ended up in the bottom half of the table after the split, but they have won their last two matches and could claim another victory on Saturday.
Score prediction: Hearts 0-2 Motherwell
Kilmarnock vs Dundee (Saturday, 3pm)
&w=707&quality=100)
Kilmarnock should maintain their decent home record when they receive a visit from Dundee. Rangers are the only visiting side to have won in the last seven games at Rugby Park and Killie have won three of their last four games. That form bodea well for the visit of Dundee, who are struggling with inconsistency and have won just three of their last 14 Scottish Premiership matches.
Score prediction: Kilmarnock 2-0 Dundee
St Johnstone vs Ross County (Saturday, 3pm)
This is a crucial clash at the basement with St Johnstone knowing that defeat will send them down to the Championship, while Ross are desperate to drag themselves out of the play-off position which would put their own top-flight standing in peril.
The Saints have lost four of their last five league games and County have lost their last six, so confidence levels will be low and we could witness a scrappy game where the teams are difficult to separate.
Score prediction: St Johnstone 1-1 Ross County
Rangers vs Aberdeen (Sunday, 12pm)
Rangers’ season is ending with a whimper as they have failed to win any of their last four league games, although the most recent of which was a 1-1 draw with Celtic.
The Gers needed an injury-time goal to earn a 2-2 draw at Aberdeen last month and as the Dons were unbeaten in six before last week’s loss at St Mirren, they are capable of bouncing back with another draw.
Score prediction: Rangers 1-1 Aberdeen
