- Celtic sit 13 points clear of Rangers at the top of the standings
- Hearts have collected 13 points from their five league matches since the turn of the year
- St Johnstone remain rock bottom but they have won their last two league games

There is a full programme of Scottish Premiership action this weekend, with leaders Celtic hosting third-placed Dundee United on Saturday and Rangers facing a difficult trip to in-form Hearts on Sunday.

Here are our score predictions for all six matches in the Scottish top flight this weekend.

Celtic vs Dundee United (Saturday, 3pm)

With this match coming slap bang in the middle of their Champions League tie with Bayern Munich, Celtic may not be at their free-flowing best against Dundee United, but they should still be able to beat their out-of-form visitors with something to spare.

Dundee United have lost five of their last six matches in all competitions — a run which includes a 2-0 defeat at Celtic Park last month — and a similar outcome could be on the cards on Saturday.

Score prediction: Celtic 2-0 Dundee United

Dundee vs Aberdeen (Saturday, 3pm)

Aberdeen took 31 points from their opening 11 matches of the season but have remarkably collected just four from the 14 games since and are without a league win since early November when they beat their opponents on Saturday, Dundee, 4-1.

Dundee's form is not much better, as they have won just two of 10 in the league since early December and have lost back-to-back Premiership fixtures 6-0 to Celtic and Hearts. A point apiece in this one may offer welcome respite for both sides.

Score prediction: Dundee 1-1 Aberdeen

Kilmarnock vs St Johnstone (Saturday, 3pm)

Kilmarnock have won four of their last six home matches but they could be facing improving St Johnstone at the wrong time, as the bottom-of-the-table Saints have triumphed in four games on the spin across all competitions.

Two of those victories for St Johnstone have come in the league, while they have already beaten Kilmarnock twice this season, claiming a 3-0 victory on their last visit to Rugby Park in August. Another win for Simo Valakari's side could be on the cards this weekend.

Score prediction: Kilmarnock 0-1 St Johnstone

Motherwell vs Ross County (Saturday, 3pm)

Managerless Motherwell have lost four matches on the bounce but Saturday's visitors Ross County are also out of form, failing to win in four and being dumped out of the Scottish Cup by Championship outfit Livingston during that time.

This may not be a classic, but given leaders Celtic are the only team to have beaten Motherwell at Fir Park since the end of November, the Steelmen may be able to show their mettle to grind out the points.

Score prediction: Motherwell 1-0 Ross County

Hearts vs Rangers (Sunday, 12pm)

After a difficult start to the season, Hearts have been flying since the turn of the year and they can pile further pressure on Rangers boss Philippe Clement by avoiding defeat when the teams meet at Tynecastle.

Rangers are still reeling from their shock Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Queen's Park and, after being held to draws on their last two away trips to Hearts, they could drop more points on Sunday in what should prove an open game.

Score prediction: Hearts 2-2 Rangers

St Mirren vs Hibernian (Sunday, 2pm)

St Mirren have lost three home league games on the bounce and also exited the Scottish Cup on their own patch last time out, so confidence may be low when in-form Hibernian visit the SMISA Stadium.

Hibs are unbeaten in 11 matches across all competitions, winning eight of those, and they can claim the spoils in Paisley, perhaps with something to spare.

Score prediction: St Mirren 1-3 Hibernian
