There are five games on the agenda on Saturday in the Premier League with the race for European football the main talking point.

Southampton and Leicester, who have both been relegated, are in action, and they are set to be joined in the Championship by Ipswich, who travel to Newcastle.

The likes of Chelsea, Brighton and Newcastle are all hoping to secure a place in Europe next season and it promises to be another entertaining day of action.

Here are our experts' best bets for all of Saturday's games from the English top flight.

Chelsea vs Everton (12.30pm)

Chelsea will hope to boost their chances of a top-five spot when they entertain David Moyes' Everton at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are two points outside the top five, which is where they need to finish if they want to qualify for the Champions League.

Everton have lost only two of their last 10 games, though, and should be a tough nut to crack. Only Liverpool and Manchester City have got the better of them in recent weeks, and Chelsea may struggle to break them down.

Brighton vs West Ham (3pm)

Brighton are winless in six matches in all competitions, but will fancy their chances of overcoming strugglers West Ham on the south coast.

The Seagulls are 12 points and seven places better off than their opponents, and they have only lost one of their last five home league matches.

West Ham are expected to fall short, but they can at least get on the scoresheet, having scored away from home against Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Manchester City in 2025.

Newcastle vs Ipswich (3pm)

After losing 4-1 to Aston Villa, Newcastle should get their top-five push back on track as they look to relegate Ipswich at St James' Park.

The Magpies have won seven of their last nine at home and should have too much quality for Ipswich, who need to win to avoid relegation.

Newcastle have scored three or more goals in seven of their last 10 home games in the Premier League, and they should punish the Tractor Boys, who have only won one of their last 14 in the top flight.

Southampton vs Fulham (3pm)

Southampton's return to the Championship has already been confirmed, but they have shown some fight in recent weeks.

Saints have scored in five of their last six games, and they may cause Fulham some issues. The Cottagers have lost five of their last seven, but both teams have scored in eight of Fulham's last 10 away top-flight battles.

Wolves vs Leicester (3pm)

Wolves are finishing the season strongly, winning seven of their last 10 Premier League matches and are worthy favourites to register a sixth successive victory against relegated Leicester at Molineux.

Ruud van Nistelrooy's men have lost 11 of their last 13 league games to nil and their lack of attacking quality means Wolves should be expected to claim a comfortable victory.

Three of Wanderers' five home wins this season have been by a 2-0 scoreline, against Aston Villa, Manchester United and Southampton and that correct score appeals again.
