After last week's FA Cup action, the Premier League returns with six games on Saturday. The 12.30pm clash sees Nottingham Forest host Manchester City while league-leaders Liverpool will entertain rock-bottom Southampton in one of the standout 3pm kick-offs.

Here are our experts' best bets for all of Saturday's games in the English top flight.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City (12.30pm)

Third-placed Nottingham Forest host Manchester City at the City Ground on Saturday in what should be a thrilling battle.

The Citizens won the first meeting between the two teams 3-0, and they will take confidence from the fact that Forest have not won any of their last five matches in 90 minutes.

Brighton vs Fulham (3pm)

Brighton will hope to record their sixth straight victory in all competitions when they welcome Fulham to the Amex Stadium.

The Seagulls are one point and one place better off than their opponents, and while they will expect to have too much for the Cottagers, they have only kept two clean sheets in their last 14 home games.

Crystal Palace vs Ipswich (3pm)

A fourth win in a row in all competitions beckons for Crystal Palace when they welcome Ipswich to Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Oliver Glasner's troops have scored nine in three games and they will fancy their chances of keeping a clean sheet. Ipswich have failed to net in three of their last five league games against the Eagles.

Liverpool vs Southampton (3pm)

Liverpool boss Arne Slot may make wholesale changes for the visit of Southampton on Saturday, but the Reds should have too much class for the struggling Saints.

Slot's troops have kept 12 clean sheets in the Premier League already and Southampton have the worst away record in the league. The Saints have won one of their 14 away games, scoring only 10 goals on their travels.

Anything short of a win for Arne Slot's Liverpool would be a huge surprise against Southampton

Brentford vs Aston Villa (5.30pm)

After their 3-1 win over Club Brugge in the Champions League, Aston Villa return to league action against Brentford.

The Villans are one place and four points better off than the Bees, but Thomas Frank's team should be able to cause their visitors some problems.

Brentford are winless in seven at home, but Villa have only kept one clean sheets in their last 12 fixtures in all competitions.

Wolves vs Everton (8pm)

Wolves will look to move further away from the bottom three and climb to within seven points of Everton on Saturday.

The Midlands outfit are without Matheus Cunha due to suspension and they may struggle to rack up the goals as a result.

Everton have only won one of their last five in all competitions, so there's every chance these two teams cancel each other out.
