There are five games scheduled in the Premier League on Saturday and the race for European spots will dominate the headlines.

Brentford and Brighton can still finish in the top seven if results go their way, while Crystal Palace will hope to halt Bournemouth's progress.

Everton will aim to ruin Manchester City's top-five push, while West Ham take on Southampton.

In the evening kick-off, Aston Villa welcome Newcastle to Villa Park in a game that could go a long way to deciding the Champions League places.

Here are our experts' best bets for all of Saturday's games from the English top flight.

Brentford vs Brighton (3pm)

Brentford will look to move to within two points of Brighton when the two teams meet on Saturday afternoon at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Bees have drawn their last two matches against Chelsea and Arsenal, while Brighton have only lost one of their previous four away from home.

The first meeting between the two clubs this season finished 0-0 and another stalemate could be on the cards.

Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth (3pm)

Crystal Palace will look to bounce back after a tough week, with the Eagles conceding 10 goals in defeats to Manchester City and Newcastle. Oliver Glasner's side conceded five goals in each game, and Bournemouth will hope to pounce after they restored confidence with a 1-0 win over Fulham.

Palace are unbeaten in four at home, and they face a Cherries side that have only lost one of their last 11 on the road.

Everton vs Manchester City (3pm)

Everton's fortunes have been transformed under David Moyes and the Toffees will hope to cause reigning Premier League champions Manchester City problems at Goodison Park.

Moyes' men have only lost one of their last nine games to climb the table with ease, while Pep Guardiola's team have enjoyed a five-match unbeaten run of late.

Everton have kept things tight, with under 2.5 goals landing in their last six outings and another close game is expected on Merseyside.

West Ham vs Southampton (3pm)

West Ham are looking to end a five-match winless run when they entertain Southampton.

The Saints are already relegated, but they may be able to keep things tight against the Hammers.

Graham Potter's team have been slow starters of late, with their last four goals all coming in the second half.

Southampton may put up a fight, but the Hammers should find a way through.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle (5.30pm)

A thrilling contest should be expected when Villa entertain Newcastle. The Villans beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 in the Champions League but went out on aggregate, and they have now scored three goals in six of their last nine games.

Newcastle have won six games in a row in all competitions and confidence is high after Wednesday's 5-0 win over Crystal Palace.

The Magpies have scored at least two goals in five consecutive matches and Saturday's battle promises to be an end-to-end affair.
