We are at the stage of the season where domestic and European ambitions collide, with this weekend's games bisecting the midweek continental action.
That means some defences could be distracted and with that in mind, we have selected five scorers to follow over the next few days.
For weeks like this between European semi-finals, it is worth looking at the teams involved and who they are playing.
While Inter Milan and Barcelona are both expected to field strong sides due to their domestic situations, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal's focus is on their Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday.
With the Ligue 1 title already wrapped up and their prospects of an unbeaten domestic season ended by last Friday's defeat to Nice, PSG are expected to make wholesale changes at Strasbourg on Saturday.
Liam Rosenier's hosts are in excellent form – currently unbeaten in 11 – and, despite being seventh, start the weekend within two points of third-placed Lille.
Dutch forward Emanuel Emegha has scored in their last three at home and is worth backing on Saturday.
Similarly, Bournemouth are also just about still in the running for the European places and could boost their hopes with a first-ever win at Arsenal.
If so, Evanilson will need to be sharp and is available after his soft red card in last week's draw against Manchester United was rescinded.
The Brazilian has had his injury issues since joining from Porto in the summer but had netted four times in three games before his current three-match scoreless streak.
With the Arsenal defence potentially distracted and possibly including a few players who rarely feature, Evanilson could punish them.
Tottenham's 2-1 win over Bodo/Glimt puts them in pole position to reach the Europa League final and a West Ham player could take advantage on Sunday.
The Hammers have had a terrible season but captain Jarrod Bowen has maintained his standards and provided both assists in last Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Brighton.
Bowen also laid on the assist for Kurt Zouma when these teams drew 1-1 at the London Stadium last season and could shine again.
Ange Postecoglou has rotated heavily in recent weeks and, with him likely to select a weakened defence, the England man is one to watch.
Similarly, Brentford's Yoane Wissa was on target in Thursday's 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest and has now scored in three straight games ahead of Sunday's visit from Manchester United.
With only an assist to show for his seven previous showings against the Red Devils, the Congolese can improve his record.
Despite a 3-0 advantage, United's focus will be on their Europa League semi-final second leg against Athletic Bilbao and a makeshift defence could be got at by Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo.

Lyon look set to wave goodbye to Alexandre Lacazette in the summer, but the striker is saying his farewells in style and has netted in three of his team's last four in Ligue 1, as well as against Manchester United in the Europa League.
After the initial indecision over who will start, the 33-year-old and his anointed successor, Georges Mikautadze, now often play together.
Lacazaette is in slightly better form and should feature from the start against Lens on Sunday.
In his penultimate competitive outing in Decines-Charpieu, expect him to fire again as he looks to guide his hometown team to a Champions League finish.
