Two strikers from the Bundesliga get our five goalscorer selections underway on Saturday before we focus on some in-form attackers in France and England.

Tim Kleindienst scored the opener in Borussia Monchengladbach’s 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend, with the 29-year-old’s recent form a key component in Die Fohlen’s push towards the European qualification spots.

Kleindienst, who arrived from Heindenheim in the summer, has scored 13 goals in 20 Bundesliga outings this season, and his strike against Frankfurt was the fourth game in a row in which he has scored.

Only Mohamed Salah, who features further down on this list, has scored more goals in Europe’s top five leagues than Harry Kane, and the England captain’s fantastic form could make all the difference in this title-fight six-pointer against Bayer Leverkusen.

Kane scored against Celtic in midweek to make it seven goals across his last five competitive games for Die Bayern, and he has failed to find the net just twice in his last nine in all competitions.

Toulouse have conceded six goals in their last two meetings with Paris Saint-Germain, and Ousmane Dembele could contribute to another high-scoring Parisien victory on Saturday evening.

The former Barcelona winger has scored 16 Ligue 1 goals in just 19 appearances — only 14 of which were starts — and his brace against Brest in midweek continued an astonishing run of goalscoring form.

Dembele has claimed 10 goals across his last four matches and has scored in each of his last eight appearances, notching 15 times in this period.

As mentioned above, Mohamed Salah’s 22 Premier League goals make him the top league goalscorer in Europe’s top five divisions, and he should add to his tally against the Premier League’s second-worst defence on Sunday.

Salah scored and assisted in the Merseyside derby in midweek and has scored in each of his last five in all competitions, taking his tally to 46 goal contributions in 35 competitive appearances for Liverpool this season.

Strasbourg are just three points behind Lens heading into Sunday’s Ligue 1 tie and a significant player in their recent success has been 22-year-old Emanuel Emegha.

The Dutchman scored the opener in their 2-0 win over Montpellier last weekend to surpass last season’s tally of eight Ligue 1 goals.

Six of these goals have come in Emegha’s last six Ligue 1 appearances, and five of his strikes this season have come in just eight appearances away from home.
