Everton vs Manchester United predictions: Moyes to mastermind another win

- Everton are unbeaten in their last five Premier League games
- United have lost their last two in the league
- Recommended bet: Everton to win
Everton are enjoying a fine run of form under David Moyes and they look set make it another miserable weekend in the Premier League for Manchester United in the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday.
Moyes has overseen a major improvement in Everton's fortunes in the past month and the Toffees are now up to 14th in the table, one place ahead of the struggling Red Devils.
Ruben Amorim's side suffered their 12th defeat of a dismal league campaign last Sunday at Tottenham and they could be in for yet more pain at Goodison Park.
Team news
Everton are still having to contend with a substantial injury list as Iliman Ndiaye, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dwight McNeil, Orel Mangala and Seamus Coleman are all absent.
Abdoulaye Doucoure is available again, though, after serving his one-match suspension for his sending off against Liverpool.
Amad Diallo was the latest United player to be ruled out for a lengthy spell before the Spurs defeat, as he joined Kobbie Mainoo, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Jonny Evans and Mason Mount in the treatment room.
Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer are also struggling with knocks, although Amorim will hope Christian Eriksen and Leny Yoro will at least be back available for the trip to Everton following illness.
The stats
Everton have beaten Tottenham, Brighton, Leicester and Crystal Palace and drawn with Liverpool in their recent five-game unbeaten run.
The two sides are next to each other in 14th and 15th in the table, with Everton one point and one place better off.
United have won the last six meetings between the sides, while the Toffees have failed to score in their last four games against the Red Devils.
United have lost 12 of their 25 Premier League games this season, the most defeats from their first 25 matches of a league campaign since they were beaten 13 times in 1973-74 — when they last suffered relegation.
Prediction
Manchester United are just three places above the relegation zone and while there is little prospect of them getting dragged into the scrap to stay up, this has been a league campaign to forget for the 20-time English champions.

Since his appointment at the start of November, Amorim's tenure in charge has been hugely disappointing with the former Sporting boss struggling to make any sort of impact after taking over from the much-maligned Erik ten Hag.
Moyes, in contrast, has been able to galvanise Everton since succeeding Sean Dyche and his record since returning to Goodison Park reads: played seven, won four, drew one, lost two.
Included in that spell were wins at Brighton and, last weekend, Crystal Palace, while the Toffees enjoyed the final Goodison Park Merseyside derby last week as James Tarkowski's stunning injury-time strike earned them a deserved 2-2 draw with league leaders Liverpool.
United's extensive injury problems have only added to Amorim's woes and while the Portuguese coach will remain confident things will eventually come right in the long term, more short-term pain looks to be on the cards on Saturday.
