- Manchester United visit Lyon, Tottenham host Eintracht Frankfurt
- Rangers entertain Athletic Bilbao
- Bodo/Glimt welcome Lazio to Norway
The Europa League has reached the quarter-final stage and there is considerable British interest, with Manchester United, Rangers and Tottenham all still in the mix for glory in the continent's second tier competition.
United and Spurs face tricky first-leg ties on Thursday against Lyon and Eintracht Frankfurt, while Rangers host Athletic Bilbao.
The remaining clash is between Bodo/Glimt and Lazio and here we look ahead to all four games and offer a score prediction for each.
Bodo/Glimt vs Lazio (Thursday, 5.45pm)
Bodo/Glimt appear to have been underestimated so far in the Europa League and, once again, they will attempt to upset the odds and beat established Italian side Lazio at home in the quarter-final first leg.
The Norwegian side stunned FC Twente in the knockout play-off round when winning 5-2 at home and then they sent Olympiakos packing 3-0 when the Greeks visited in the last-16.
Lazio are a step up from those two teams but the Serie A side, who have won just one of their last five games in all competitions, are also set to find it tough going at the Aspmyra Stadion.
Score prediction: Bodo/Glimt 1-0 Lazio
Lyon vs Manchester United (Thursday, 8pm)
Manchester United were arguably the better side in Sunday's dour Manchester derby draw with City and they can edge this first leg in France against Lyon.
The Ligue 1 hosts have won eight of their last 10 games in all competitions but United have tended to reserve their best performances this season for this competition and Ruben Amorim knows he needs to keep his much-maligned side in with a shout of silverware in Europe to save what has otherwise been a poor campaign.
Score prediction: Lyon 1-2 Manchester United
Tottenham vs Eintracht Frankfurt (Thursday, 8pm)
&w=707&quality=100)
Tottenham managed to end a four-game winless streak in the Premier League with victory over Southampton on Sunday, but Saints are rock-bottom domestically and Spurs will need to produce a better performance to beat German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Lilywhites have been devilishly difficult to predict this season, but there is a feeling that Ange Postecoglou's side can pull off a home win when they need it most on Thursday as they look to take a slender advantage with them for the away trip next week.
Score prediction: Tottenham 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt
Rangers vs Athletic Bilbao (Thursday, 8pm)
Rangers – incredibly – lost a fifth successive home game at the weekend when they went down 2-0 to Hibs in the Scottish Premiership and they are set to find it tough going again when Spanish outfit Athletic Bilbao visit Ibrox.
Barry Ferguson has all sorts of issues to sort out and, even though the Gers have produced some outstanding results in Europe this season, doing it against a side sitting fourth in Spain and who are unbeaten in their last five games overall seems unlikely given the current state of affairs at the Glasgow giants.
Score prediction: Rangers 1-3 Athletic Bilbao
