- Manchester United go to Real Sociedad
- Tottenham visit Dutch side AZ Alkmaar
- Rangers travel to Turkey to face Fenerbahce
With a place in the latter stages of the Europa League now coming into view, plenty of the continent's well-known teams are set to battle it out in the first legs of the last-16 this week.
Here, we have a score prediction for all eight ties on Thursday.
AZ vs Tottenham (Thursday, 5.45pm)
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou knows he is under pressure to deliver silverware this season and his side should take a big step into the last eight with an away win over Dutch side AZ.
There were six points and 15 places between these two teams in the league phase, with Spurs finishing much higher in fourth.
Even though the Eredvisie side impressed when seeing off Galatasaray 6-3 on aggregate in the play-off round, they lost 1-0 at Tottenham in the first stage and look set to struggle when going up against the Premier League team again.
Score prediction: AZ 0-2 Tottenham
FCSB vs Lyon (Thursday, 5.45pm)
Lyon should also register an away win in their first-leg clash with Romanian side FCSB. The French outfit are unbeaten in their last five Europa League outings and they should have too much for the hosts.
Score prediction: FCSB 1-2 Lyon
Fenerbahce vs Rangers (Thursday, 5.45pm)
Rangers were disappointing when losing at home to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership over the weekend and new boss Barry Ferguson may be in for more pain in Turkey.
Jose Mourinho's side won well against Anderlecht in the play-offs, with a 3-0 first-leg home win essentially sealing their progress and they are on an 18-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
Score prediction: Fenerbahce 3-1 Rangers

Real Sociedad vs Manchester United (Thursday, 5.45pm)
More pain could be on the cards for United when they travel to the Basque region to take on Real Sociedad.
After being dumped out of the FA Cup by Fulham at the weekend, the embattled Red Devils have lost three of their last six matches in all competitions and a dismal campaign may well peter out with their chances of silverware resting on Europe.
Sociedad can claim a narrow first-leg win to try and defend at Old Trafford next week.
Score prediction: Real Sociedad 1-0 Manchester United

Ajax vs Eintracht Frankfurt (Thursday, 8pm)
Ajax are eight points clear at the top of the table in the Netherlands and they should maintain their recent impressive form with a first-leg win in Europe over German opponents Eintracht Frankfurt.
Score prediction: Ajax 2-0 Eintracht Frankfurt
Bodo/Glimt vs Olympiakos (Thursday, 8pm)
Bodo/Glimt continue to punch above their weight in Europe and their 6-4 aggregate victory over Twente in the play-off round means Greek side Olympiakos – last season's Conference League winners – must be guarded for the trip to Norway.
However, the visitors have won their last four games in all competitions, conceding just one goal in that period and they can secure a slim first-leg advantage.
Score prediction: Bodo/Glimt 1-2 Olympiakos
Roma vs Athletic Bilbao (Thursday, 8pm)
Roma are on a fine four-game winning run going into their clash with Athletic Bilbao, but the Italians may have to settle for a draw at home on Thursday.
&w=707&quality=100)
The LaLiga outfit lost for the first time in five matches when title-chasing Atletico Madrid got the better of them 1-0 at the weekend, but Bilbao were hugely impressive in the league phase in finishing second and they can claim what would be a respectable draw in Rome.
Score prediction: Roma 2-2 Athletic Bilbao
Viktoria Plzen vs Lazio (Thursday, 8pm)
Europa League table-toppers Lazio are expected to go far in the competition and they can land a comfortable victory at Czech side Viktoria Plzen on Thursday.
Lazio won six of their eight games in the first stage, while Plzen managed just three victories when finishing down in 16th.
Score prediction: Viktoria Plzen 0-3 Lazio
