Barrow claimed a first League Two win in 10 games as early goals from Emile Acquah and Theo Vassell secured a 2-0 victory over Fleetwood.
In the first English Football League meeting between the sides, Acquah bundled in a fourth-minute goal from Robbie Gotts’ corner.
Defender Vassell then became Barrow’s top scorer this season, netting his fifth of the campaign after 10 minutes.
Shellshocked Fleetwood, now without a win in six games in all competitions, eventually carved out a chance but Paul Farman easily saved Rhys Bennett’s header.
With a gale force wind behind their backs, Barrow searched for a clinching third goal in the second half.
Chris Stokes’ late header was disallowed for offside and Connor Mahoney twice went close but Barrow still finished comfortable victors.
