Eastleigh scored twice in the first half to run out 2-0 winners at home to Aldershot in the National League.
The hosts took the lead in the Hampshire derby when Jesurun Uchegbulam beat his defender and played the ball to Jai Semenyo, brother of Bournemouth forward Antoine, who buried the finish.
Tyrese Shade doubled the lead before half-time with a clever strike that wrong-footed the goalkeeper from the edge of the box.
The defeat left the visitors outside of the relegation zone by just a point while Eastleigh are eight points outside the play-off places.
